The whole trip was ruined by them pathetic service and Dirty rooms and bathrooms with stains all over the towels and sheets. There was no hot water available and there was no internet. The food had no taste. The hot and sour soup was just Red Yakhni. The malai boti was like boiled chicken Heated in a BBQ. Everything was very bad we planned to stay for 2 nights but had to run back after 1 night that too with the bugs flying all around in the rooms and corridors. Not at all recommended

Pros. The property is beautiful and clean/well maintained except for the parking. Cons. They lost our rooms we tried to reserve twice. Lots of children playing in the lawn in front of our room till very late, forget about sleeping as you can't close the windows due to humidity and how hot the room gets. The road to the property is half built the rest is poorly maintained. One of the rooms we reserved was not ready at Check-in time. WiFi is very poor We had to ask around for the WiFi password, no contact details in the room on how to call reception, no breakfast timing communicated. All this should be done during chick in by the front desk. Gust services very poor, both rooms had damp towels and it took over 4h to have them replaces. Our luxury rooms had no complementary coffee or tea setup. No mini bar The rooms were humid (at least a fan was needed) Food was horrible and really overpriced for what it was, we ordered; Kungpao chicken, it was horrible Chowmein, was good Edd fried rice, it was ok Cream of mushrooms soup, it was good Hot and sour soup, it was horrible We also ordered the traditional cheese burger that never arrived. Value for money I rate the place 1/5, which is unfortunate as it's a beautiful place but the management needs to be changed or at least trained on how to run a hotel. I've travelled in 20 plus countries rich and poor and this place should and can do better. As is, I would not revisit this hotel.

#terrible I stayed there on July 15, 2024 for a day in standard room cost 12k/day to celebrate my anniversary. It was all going good until the show started. I ordered mutton karahi and malai boti in dinner. Karahi was ok in taste but merely 2/3 boties and rest is all bones. When I wanted to order something else because we wasn't full, they told me that our kitchen is closed. I ordered coffee and hot chocolate and found onion in the first sip of both of them. I went in my room to sleep and found out that one of the mattresses is very old and springs were about to get out of the mattress cover. When my wife was trying to sleep my 14month baby, we heard a mouse cutting the wooden wall. It was eating the wall from the other side or may be it was in between the wooden walls trying to get out of the wall. We first ignored it. But the mouse was continuously eating wood, so we got scared. I tried to call reception but nobody picked up the phone. So, I went to the reception so that I can get someone, but nobody was there. I went into the kitchen and saw a worker. I asked for help, he told me that he would come in a while but never appeared. So, there was nobody to help in the hotel between a river and a forest. Thank God after 2-3 hours the mouse ran out of the fear of may be doors noise. When I complained to the manager named Ikram Ullah, all I got was smile and apologies. When I complained on the reception, the guy there just ignored me and started calculating my meals bill. They noticed me when I started shouting about the seriousness of the matter. All they offered was reduction of karahi from the bill which I refused because I didn't even want to accept anything as apology because nothing could compensate the torture I had the entire night. They didn't even mention the 12k that they took at the check-in. Ikram ullah and guys, you ruined my wedding anniversary. I pray that it won't happen to anyone.

Road to lodge under remake and very rocky and muddy. Beautiful drive through Himalayan pine forest. Sadly, workers on the road tossed their plastic bottles, paper and garbage along the roads and over the embankments into the forest, spoiling the natural beauty. Beautiful setting at arrival but lots of garbage. Surrounding mountains and wildflowers make it beautiful. Everything seems to be unfinished regarding construction. No heat (small propane tank with small infrared heater attachment for the tank) for the one large room which ran out, then my room became very cold. My toes did not warm up over night because not enough blankets. No hot water for shower (wood fired boiler heats water). Expect electric power to occasionally go out. Signs warn to not waste water but faucets and toilets leak and waste water. Signs warn to not pick flowers or get a big fine, yet where the wildflowers grow there is garbage and crap everywhere spoiling the natural environment. Food was ok. Overall expensive for what we received. Probably won't return.

We stayed at this hotel as a part of a college reunion. I was accompanied by my wife. We were in a group of 43 on a full board basis and our group were assigned 23 rooms all over the hotel. At first glance the hotel and it’s setting is idyllic, with beautiful manicured gardens and flowers surrounded by spectacular mountains and valleys. There are two kinds of accommodations at this hotel. Most of the rooms are in the main building on two floors, ground and above that. In addition, they have four or five chalets that are separate from the main building. We were initially given a room on the ground floor, on the right side of the main building. However, when we got to it, not only did it have dirty used dishes of someone’s lunch, but the room was dark due to dark floor tiles. But most importantly, there was a strong smell of feces coming from the bathroom that had wafted into the entire room. We immediately complained and after a bit of reluctance on the reception’s part, we were given another room on the extreme left of the main building, still on the ground floor. This room had been built recently and was cheerful and bright. But there was the same smell of feces coming from the bathroom. On closer investigation, I noticed a brown fluid in the commode, and I realized that the toilet had been used but not flushed. Flushing took care of that and the smell became less. Since we were tired and not looking for another show down with the reception staff, we opted to stay here. When we returned from dinner, the toilet bowl again had the brown water. That’s when we realized that there is a plumbing defect so that fecal material backs up from the sewer about 15 minutes after it is flushed. That explained the foul smell in the bathroom! At breakfast the next morning, we realized that all our friends who had rooms on the ground floor had the same problem. But none of the rooms on the upper level, or those in the chalets had that problem. Basically, the toilets on the ground floor have poor plumbing that allows sewer water to back up. Also, the bathrooms are poorly designed so that the shower water flowed across the entire length of the bathroom to a drain at the other end. Therefore, the bathroom floor was always wet with soapy water. The only thing good about the bathroom was that they had ample hot water in the mornings, though only luke warm water in the evenings. Other than the bathrooms, the rest of the hotel was as perfect as any hotel in a mountainous area in Pakistan could be. The sheets and comforters were reasonably clean. The towels were not threadbare. And our room had a large verandah that was not boxed in by glass panels so that we had a wonderful view of the mountains and valley. We did not have wifi in our room. The hotel served excellent food. We got good weather so that they served breakfast and lunch in the garden surrounded by flowers, glorious sunshine and a spectacular view. Dinner was in the dining room as it got rather
