We got this huge present from our family as a wedding gift. We where so excited to gou to mauritius. As we arrive at Tarisa resort and spa we noticed that the hotel doesn't look anything like on the pictures on the web site. As we walked to our room, we noticed that the building was falling apart , the paint was coming of the walls the floors where dirty, the tennis courts and mini golf areas is not looked after. No maintenance done on this resort. We where so disappointed 😞. we got ready to go to supper the food was not nice at all, not even avarge. The room was clean but same piant on the ceiling come off the basin where blocked. The wifi only worked if no one was on the wifi We didn't say anything. The next day family asked us for photos off the hotel. I send them the photos I where horrified when they saw the pictures. So they contacted the company which they booked this vacation. The people from Africa stay said ti our family they will move us to another resort we must pack our bags and go to reception. We did. We explain to the reception what happened, thebmangeress cime and said are we the people who complained about the resort, we said no we didn't complain about the room our family did. We sat in reception for ours while the resort booked us out of the resort. So we sat there waiting to here eventually our advisor come and asked us what happened we told her she laughed and thought it was funny. African stay did get a room at another resort but we had to pay for the transfer cost which our family said no they must pay it. So we lost that room. African stay only come back to us late afternoon and said they can't find another resort mauritius is apparently full. We had to stay the night. The next day we contacted them they said they couldn't get another resort as it wasn't there responsibility to upgrade us to another resort on there cost. We have to pay for the upgrade. Turns out African stay don't care about there customers. They the ones who recommend this resort on the firts place. After all this we had to stay at this horrible resort the manangeress after this treated us like scum, she did answer my husband if he asked her a question. She avoided us. She wrote a email to africa stay to say we complained about the room which didn't as I explained above, she said they busy with reservations. Why then is the resort open? I did think both Tarsia resort and African Stay do false advertising. Don't think Tasrisa Resort should have Any star they have must be taken away as the resort is not up to standard neither there food. Our experience at the resort where awfull woth tje resort. We did how ever enjoyed the local people the street food, and the beach that was amazing. I won't recommend Tarsia Resort or African Stay to anyone thinking of going to Mauritius there are some beautiful places to go . Star review- no star Attached photos

Poor customer service for Mauritians. Went to get some eggs in the morning , the chef was annoyed at Mauritians for no reason but was smiling and being patient with foreigners. When we check out, the housekeeping guy didn't even knock and open the door hopefully we already took our bath. And we did not receive luggage service when checking out. No cook was available on the 06th Oct around 3pm to 5pm if you wanted to have some snacks. However food and drinks was good and special mention for Ravi the barman who taok care of us and treated us well.
