This was the only place we booked on our safari that wasn't a lodge, so we didn't know what to expect - but we're so unbelievably happy we stayed here! From the moment we arrived, Nelson and his staff made us feel at home, and everything about our time there was amazing. The location inside the park puts you moments from animals when you leave on game drives. The tents feel both luxurious and adventurous, and they come with full working bathrooms inside. You really can hear hippos grunting and moving in the distance at night (which is fascinating), but it always feels very safe with guards on patrol. The food was delicious, the drink menu was very sizable, and the early morning wake-up visits with coffee right on the patio were the best way to start the day. We especially loved just talking to the staff at the camp. On Christmas Eve, after being surprised with a magical sundown barbecue combining all three Soroi camps for the holiday, the two of us sat around the campfire swapping stories with Nelson and his associate Adam for almost two hours. Next to the tree, it really did feel like Christmas, and it was such a wonderful start to our trip that we'll never forget. For the game drives, our guide Dan had grown up in a local Masai village and was a master at finding cool things before the other guide cars. This led to some unbelievable moments (especially with baby lions) and the best photos we've ever taken. We highly recommend getting breakfast to go in the morning and eating it out under an acacia tree. We thought this would just be a one-time trip, but now we can't wait to come back! I don't think I've ever felt more well taken care of on any vacation. The staff here is incredible! Nelson and his staff anticipate all your needs and coordinate the best experiences you can ever want. Game drives, balloon rides, nightly campfires (with wonderful cocktails), and the best meals! This camp is located in an incredible location and offers everything you've dreamed about going on a safari!! With luxuries thrown in, too! You can't go wrong being a guest here.

The staff of the Mara camp is extremely friendly and flexible! The meals are delicious! Flora and fauna around the camp are impressive! We traveled with 10 children and 11 adults! We couldn’t have chosen a better camp! We thank Nelson and his team for their hospitality!

Beautiful camp, with charmingly decorated tents and delicious food. Very nice, friendly and attentive staff. The camp is very child-friendly. All wishes are fulfilled. There are great and competent guides for the safaris.

This hotel was so magical, in the heart of a bush in the parc, you can hear animals in trees, near the river and enjoy the silence of the savana. The staff is so nice to help us to hold our luggage, go with us to our tent, ask if we need anything. The tents have everything you need to appreciate your days, have all the comodities even if we are in the middle of a bush where we are very far from civilization ! The extra : hot water bottles in bed in the evening !

Soroi Mara Bush camp was incredible, and the other camps (the luxury and private wing) on the same property were equally beautiful. I was a female solo traveler and never once felt uncomfortable or lonely. The staff were more than accommodative, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Nelson, James, Ignatius, Flavia, Washington, and Joe (and all others as well!) were all the most kind. I would highly recommend this stay for families and solo travelers alike. Game drives were every morning and evening, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even the wake up calls with tea and biscuits before game drives or on mornings where you wanted to sleep in and relax were all incredible. Thank you to all. Please consider staying here!

A most perfect balance between being comfortable and yet one with nature. Nothing over the top, which made it feel just right. The camp was lovely, food was delicious, all the creature comforts provided for and above all the staff that went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Thank you to the whole team that makes the Soroi Bish camp a warm and special place.

We had a fabulous 4-night stay at the beautiful Mara Bush Camp. The tents were perfect - once back home it was hard to describe a tent as having everything you need and wanting for nothing and yet being rustic and feeling like you were out in the wild! Nelson kept everything together and we got to do amazing activities everyday - game drives, sunrise breakfasts, balloon rides, and a visit to a village. We had great people making our stay easy - Dickson and Bradley and Alfred and Donald were just a few who took care of us, and all our drivers who were so knowledgable about everything in the park! I did not want to leave! I have such fantastic memories! Thank you so much! Evie
