OK 3 star hotel
OK 3 star hotel.
A bit old fashioned but it was clean and functional. Food in the restaurant was more quantity than quality, but it was ok.
Internet was very slow with 4.5 Mbit/s download and 0.9 Mbit/s upload! Nice and friendly staff

Schrecklichste Nacht im Leben
Im ganzen Hotel waren extreme Küchengerüche nach Fett. Das Zimmer selbst konnte nicht gelüftet werden, denn das Fenster war wohl direkt bei der Abluft aus der Küche.
Ich erlebte eine sehr schreckliche Nacht, obwohl ich sogar die teurere Zimmerkategorie Komfort gewählt hatte.
Im Zimmer selbst ist der Putz an allen Wänden gesprungen. An allen Wänden, also nicht nur an einer Wand.
Allerdings war das Frühstück klasse, aber der Gesamteindruck des Hotels bleibt in der Kategorie "Horror".

Hotel Weißes Ross Marienberg Erzgebirge Ein kleines Stadthotel 100 Meter vom Marktplatz entfernt. Ordentlich, sauber, gemütliche Zimmer, eine kleine Sauna, Bar, Restaurant und deftige Küche bieten eine gute Ausgangsbasis um allen Möglichkeiten des Wintersports in der Umgebung zu frönen. Vier Sterne sind nun einmal keine 5 Sterne, aber auch diese müssen kontinuierlich und allumfassend tagtäglich verteidigt/umgesetzt werden. Kellnerin in Leggings, nachlassende Hygieneschutzmaßnahmen (Am zweiten Tag keine Handschuhe mehr für die Gäste am Frühstücksbuffet, Personal zeitweise ohne Maske), extreme Küchengerüche im gesamten Hotel wegen offenem Küchentrakt, kein Wasserspender oder Flaschen mit Mineralwasser im Saunabereich, Rezeption oft mürrisch und trockene, bis zum Exodus gebackene Schnitzel bringen doch einige Minuspunkte und lassen insgesamt leider nur 3 Sterne zu. Ein Blick in die Gästeanmeldung hätte hier auch offenbart, dass unser Sohn nicht 7 sondern 15 Jahre ist und kein "Pittiplatschmenü" benötigt. Auch die ständigen Nachfragen der Gäste zum Frühstück nach Kaffee, Kaffeesahne, Säfte usw. sind unnötig. Auf unserem Tisch zum Abendessen, standen über den gesamten Zeitraum unberührt verwelkte Blumen mit traurig hängenden Köpfen. Der Service muss dies im Blick haben und kontinuierlich für Auffrischung sorgen. Hier könnte das Haus sicher nachlegen und schnell das 4- Sterne- Niveau erreichen.
