Staying at La Claire Fontaine during Eid al-Adha was a fantastic experience, especially with most places closed. The Riad's design is a perfect blend of modern comfort and exotic Moroccan charm, noticeable in every corner, piece of furniture, and the overall ambiance. Our room was beautiful, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was spacious, and the furniture and decorations were truly exquisite. The toiletries provided were also of very good quality. The WiFi quality was good through out the Riad. The patio was refreshing and charming, providing a lovely spot to enjoy a drink or the delicious breakfast served each morning. As an espresso fan, I was delighted with the in-room espresso maker and the quality of espresso prepared for us during breakfast. The rooftop terrace was another highlight, offering a relaxing space between walks and a delightful dinner prepared especially for us by the Riad team. Our stay at La Claire Fontaine was memorable not just for the comfort and atmosphere, but because we felt genuinely at home. Special thanks to Smail, Soulaimane, and Younes for their exceptional care and hospitality. You made our stay unforgettable! 2 important tips: - Ignore people on the streets who claim your Google Maps is wrong, or the street is closed, and offer to guide you another way or show you an exhibition. These individuals will ask for money, and the streets are not actually closed, nor are there exhibitions—just shops. Engaging with them will waste your time and cause frustration. - When you go back to the airport, plan for three hours, especially if you fly Ryanair. They stamp boarding passes at the check-in desks, even if you only have carry-on luggage. There are huge queues at the check-in desks (Ryanair staff can be quite rude and slow, and regardless of your luggage size, they might force you to pay an extra fee; we witnessed many disputes and scandals during our 1.5-hour wait in this queue) and at passport control you need about an hour.

One of the best place to stay in medina. Nice and stylish, clean rooms, simple breakfast. Location also good enough, because its not that far to walk by medina from taxi (another riads can be so far and it's not comfortable to find it, especially when you have a lot of clothes). One more thing - they are really equipped with everything you need in rooms - fridge, smart-TV, hairdryer, even in single rooms. Not every riad can have it, especially with this price. Friendly and very helpful staff. Especially grateful to Hassan, he helped me with my one thousand questions 😅 So, I can recommend this place. I stayed in few riads in different points of medina, and it was most comfortable place.

We stayed at hotel chems from the 31st of December for six consecutive days for the new year. This was my second time in Marrakech but my mum's first time. The location is second to none within a few minutes walk to the square and also many other local attractions. On arrival we were told that we needed to check in from 3:00 p.m. we'd got there early but were able to drop off our bags and then go out exploring. The hotel itself is a little outdated, however it is very clean. Staff are very good, welcoming and attentive, room sizes good and price good. Bedrooms made up everyday, towels changed, cleaned throughout. Pool towels available for free at pool. We stopped between December and January, that is a very good size pool approximately 25 m. However it is very cold but still accessible plenty of seating areas for drinks and snacks. There are plenty of sun lounges around the poolside as well as in the grass area. Breakfast is served daily which is included within the cost and there was ample choice a selection of eggs, Cereals, yogurts a little fruit, many pastries, etc. The hotel also has a snack bar and does offer evening meals. We did not take any evening meals here. We did have snacks during the day. Things like salads, pizzas, burgers, etc. The food was good. As the hotel was very close to the local area, we were able to walk although it was close to a taxi rank. If you should need this. Within 1 minute walk to Koutobia mosque, then about 5 mins to jem so fnaa square, Cyber park short walk ( nice to visit) near royal mansour Marrakech, Around 40 mins walk is the beautiful menara :) There is also complex artisan is about 10 minutes walk maximum full of things to buy As you come out of the hotel grounds, if you do a left you will find a park on the left hand side ( Koutobia). You can walk straight through this to the main road to take a shorter route to places. There is plenty of opportunities for walking and running. It is very safe to run alone. When we were there the sunrose at about 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. and the mornings were cool. During the daytime, you can expect temperatures of around 18° c in December and January plenty warm enough if you are from England. We had a walking tour that I arranged before we went through TripAdvisor. It was very good. We also booked the waterfalls trip. This was okay. I also took a hot air balloon trip which was amazing. All of these were booked online instead of at the hotel. There was no particular reason not to book at the hotel. I just didn't realise that there was somebody on site to do this before travelling. The reception is manned 24 hours, 7 days a week. On New year's Eve, we was welcomed with a show and dinner from 7:30 p.m. full entertainment and several courses for a meal and drinks. A basic and functional hotel in a fairly busy area. Expect noise from the road if you are on the front of the hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Pool on the rooftop was small but well maintained and has great views across the city to the old town.

The hotel is located in the center of the city. It is convenient to travel and the surrounding facilities are complete, but when I checked in, a very strange thing happened. The hotel gave me a room on the third floor. When I reached the third floor by elevator, I found the third floor Many rooms are being renovated, and workers come and go in a messy feeling. I thought maybe only a few rooms were being remodeled and didn’t care. When I continued to go to my own room, I found that there was still a section that was using a percussion drill to hit the ground. The sound was loud and dusty, and I immediately turned back to the front desk of the hotel to ask for another room. The quiet environment, the hotel hesitated and gave me a room on the fourth floor, but when I entered the room after arriving on the fourth floor, the sound of the impact drill was still loud , There was no way to rest comfortably, so I had no choice but to contact Ctrip's customer service. In the end, the customer service communicated with the hotel and changed me to a room on the fifth floor on the other side. It was very quiet and gave me an unexpected compensation voucher , Thanks to Ctrip's customer service! I mainly want to make complaints about writing this review. As a five-star international chain hotel, the hotel is undergoing renovations during the period of receiving guests, and the guests are arranged in rooms on the decoration floor, which is simply unbelievable!

NE RESERVEZ PAS - AVOID AT ALL COSTS- This hotel must be avoided at all costs!!!!! Do not trust positive ratings, they cannot be trusted and have been paid for. Evitez cet hotel a tout prix!!!! Ne croyez pas les avis postifs, achetes a moindre cout par cet hotel. Ditry bedsheets provided everyday, stained towels everyday, broken plugs in the bathrooms (!!!!), no AC, very small pool, broken shower heads, a very aggressive manager. We left before the end of our stay to a different hotel. This place is not safe! Draps sales, literie douteuse, piscine trop petite, equipements a l'abandon, un manager aggressif, prises murales exposees dans les salle de bains!!, draps dechires, Nous avons exige un remboursement de nos frais. Nous avons quittes l'hotel avant la fin de notre sejour. Nous n'etions pas en securite!

What a gem of a property in the Accor catalog of accommodation and hospitality! I am a senior, solo, single traveler, and Ibis rooms are just fine with me! The Wi-Fi could be a little bit better, but that's the problem with the vendor and the Internet service Provider, not the Ibis. Although this Ibis would be within their rights to demand better service- in 2023, with 100+ rooms. I came directly from an Ibis in Lisbon, which had fewer items for breakfast, and no Chef for evening dinner! The breakfast is a wonderful mix of Moroccan, Arabic, French foods, but also American/English. Scrambled eggs are made without dairy, and I brought my own gluten-free bread from Carrefour to be sure. While they do have a container of Honey, I bring my own, as I don't like touching containers and spoons touched by other customers... another customer absconded with my honey yesterday, and one of the wait staff had to retrieve it! Three languages are spoken here: Moroccan, Arabic, French, and plenty of English. Any word that is too specific can be translated on any of the web translation sources. Like when I needed to explain that DHL was bringing a package with my gluten-free chocolate chip cookies that Carrefour does not stock! There's been some shuffling of the wait staff in the last few days, but besides being new, quiet, and shy, they are all talented and all understand hospitality. The evening dinner is attended to by the top echelon of the hotel staff and everything is more than fine – which in my case means a very plain and simple American taste. Since I don't carry currency, the evening food bill goes on my room tab. Breakfast was part of the booking in the first place, but I don't fully understand what ”half-board” means, if that means evening dinner, so I will be inquiring about that. Being next-door to the train station means it's a three minute walk to excellent sight seeing and people watching. And McDonald's of you so care, and at least two mobile phone SIM shops. Carrefour is a 10 minute walk, and there is a shopping mall which is about a 20 minute walk which I will be visiting for recreation purposes and window shopping, to get a feel for the retail culture of this city. And people watching! I did read about the potable water situation on a Moroccan tourism page. This Ibis has plenty of bottled water, so just ask- at Reception and of course in the Restaurant.  I also read about cash versus credit card. The three places that I have spent money at have all accepted cards. It is currently Ramadan, but this Ibis respects International tourists' needs and wants. No disruption of service- and the staff seem to be very happy to be celebrating the holiday. My room had two minor maintenance issues, which were resolved quickly. The garden is beautiful and peaceful, and well manicured. I have stayed with other brand name chain hotels in the US and Europe. We spent wonderful days in Caravanserai with the Rotary Club with 28 people. The rooms are generous and individual and carefully maintained. The accommodation is very quietly located. The right place to tank. The atmosphere is simply charming with the beautiful lighting. The dinner was served at the pool or tent in the desired garden. The food was very tasty and fine. The staff is very friendly, attentive and premature. Chapeau for Philippe. He is an organizational talent. We're happy to come back as a couple or with a group or for a special celebration.
