After check-in, the socket in the room suddenly exploded, and the whole room was out of power! Then I changed the room a little better. Both rooms are not very clean! We stayed at hotel chems from the 31st of December for six consecutive days for the new year. This was my second time in Marrakech but my mum's first time. The location is second to none within a few minutes walk to the square and also many other local attractions. On arrival we were told that we needed to check in from 3:00 p.m. we'd got there early but were able to drop off our bags and then go out exploring. The hotel itself is a little outdated, however it is very clean. Staff are very good, welcoming and attentive, room sizes good and price good. Bedrooms made up everyday, towels changed, cleaned throughout. Pool towels available for free at pool. We stopped between December and January, that is a very good size pool approximately 25 m. However it is very cold but still accessible plenty of seating areas for drinks and snacks. There are plenty of sun lounges around the poolside as well as in the grass area. Breakfast is served daily which is included within the cost and there was ample choice a selection of eggs, Cereals, yogurts a little fruit, many pastries, etc. The hotel also has a snack bar and does offer evening meals. We did not take any evening meals here. We did have snacks during the day. Things like salads, pizzas, burgers, etc. The food was good. As the hotel was very close to the local area, we were able to walk although it was close to a taxi rank. If you should need this. Within 1 minute walk to Koutobia mosque, then about 5 mins to jem so fnaa square, Cyber park short walk ( nice to visit) near royal mansour Marrakech, Around 40 mins walk is the beautiful menara :) There is also complex artisan is about 10 minutes walk maximum full of things to buy As you come out of the hotel grounds, if you do a left you will find a park on the left hand side ( Koutobia). You can walk straight through this to the main road to take a shorter route to places. There is plenty of opportunities for walking and running. It is very safe to run alone. When we were there the sunrose at about 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. and the mornings were cool. During the daytime, you can expect temperatures of around 18° c in December and January plenty warm enough if you are from England. We had a walking tour that I arranged before we went through TripAdvisor. It was very good. We also booked the waterfalls trip. This was okay. I also took a hot air balloon trip which was amazing. All of these were booked online instead of at the hotel. There was no particular reason not to book at the hotel. I just didn't realise that there was somebody on site to do this before travelling. The reception is manned 24 hours, 7 days a week. On New year's Eve, we was welcomed with a show and dinner from 7:30 p.m. full entertainment and several courses for a meal and drinks. This was all inclusive even though we was on a bed and breakfast basis. We had no idea that this was going to happen. It was a lovely surprise. The entertainment was fun. Most of the ho

One of the best place to stay in medina. Nice and stylish, clean rooms, simple breakfast. Location also good enough, because its not that far to walk by medina from taxi (another riads can be so far and it's not comfortable to find it, especially when you have a lot of clothes). One more thing - they are really equipped with everything you need in rooms - fridge, smart-TV, hairdryer, even in single rooms. Not every riad can have it, especially with this price. Friendly and very helpful staff. Especially grateful to Hassan, he helped me with my one thousand questions 😅 So, I can recommend this place. I stayed in few riads in different points of medina, and it was most comfortable place.

The location is right by the sea, the scenery is very good, the downstairs is the beach. The end of the hotel can see the endless Atlantic! The room is not facing the sea (maybe there are very few, the estimated price is very high), but the balcony of every room can see the sea! The room is very large, clean and comfortable, and the internet is very good. The room has a kitchen, the tableware is also in line, you can make your own instant noodles. Moroccan things are not very appetizing, or noodles! Especially if you have been in Morocco for a few days, you are tired of eating Taji pot and other foods. At this time, a bowl of instant noodles can make you burst into tears! When it comes to buying instant noodles, you have to mention that the Wanda's commercial center (one-twentieth of Wanda's) is next to the hotel. This is one of the few super-comprehensive markets in Casablanca. This is a wealthy area. Carrefour in the mall, everything! There are also fast food such as KFC and McDonald's in the mall. This place is not far from the Hassan II Mosque, just take a taxi! You are a tourist, the driver does not give you a watch, you can price! NE RESERVEZ PAS - AVOID AT ALL COSTS- This hotel must be avoided at all costs!!!!! Do not trust positive ratings, they cannot be trusted and have been paid for. Evitez cet hotel a tout prix!!!! Ne croyez pas les avis postifs, achetes a moindre cout par cet hotel. Ditry bedsheets provided everyday, stained towels everyday, broken plugs in the bathrooms (!!!!), no AC, very small pool, broken shower heads, a very aggressive manager. We left before the end of our stay to a different hotel. This place is not safe! Draps sales, literie douteuse, piscine trop petite, equipements a l'abandon, un manager aggressif, prises murales exposees dans les salle de bains!!, draps dechires, Nous avons exige un remboursement de nos frais. Nous avons quittes l'hotel avant la fin de notre sejour. Nous n'etions pas en securite!

Staying at La Claire Fontaine during Eid al-Adha was a fantastic experience, especially with most places closed. The Riad's design is a perfect blend of modern comfort and exotic Moroccan charm, noticeable in every corner, piece of furniture, and the overall ambiance. Our room was beautiful, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was spacious, and the furniture and decorations were truly exquisite. The toiletries provided were also of very good quality. The WiFi quality was good through out the Riad. The patio was refreshing and charming, providing a lovely spot to enjoy a drink or the delicious breakfast served each morning. As an espresso fan, I was delighted with the in-room espresso maker and the quality of espresso prepared for us during breakfast. The rooftop terrace was another highlight, offering a relaxing space between walks and a delightful dinner prepared especially for us by the Riad team. Our stay at La Claire Fontaine was memorable not just for the comfort and atmosphere, but because we felt genuinely at home. Special thanks to Smail, Soulaimane, and Younes for their exceptional care and hospitality. You made our stay unforgettable! 2 important tips: - Ignore people on the streets who claim your Google Maps is wrong, or the street is closed, and offer to guide you another way or show you an exhibition. These individuals will ask for money, and the streets are not actually closed, nor are there exhibitions—just shops. Engaging with them will waste your time and cause frustration. - When you go back to the airport, plan for three hours, especially if you fly Ryanair. They stamp boarding passes at the check-in desks, even if you only have carry-on luggage. There are huge queues at the check-in desks (Ryanair staff can be quite rude and slow, and regardless of your luggage size, they might force you to pay an extra fee; we witnessed many disputes and scandals during our 1.5-hour wait in this queue) and at passport control you need about an hour.

An excellent hotel, just the only fault would be the location a bit out of the city center. For people who like tranquility this is a good location.

I’ve had the best time here! The entertainment team are so fun but not too pushy if you don’t feel like getting involved one day. The food was brilliant, and had a lot of choice. Bar staff- amazing and all staff were always willing to help. The cocktails are included in the all-inclusive and they were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here. I would definitely come back. We traveled as a couple but have seen a lot for the kids to do also. Hicham, the barman, Hassan, entertainment and Wahiba, entertainment were brilliant. Really lovely people and this hotel is a really lovely place to visit.
