Ein besonderes Erlebnis mitten im Regenwald zu übernachten. Schon die knapp einstündige Anfahrt mit dem 4x4 durch Teeplantagen und Sekundärwald ist beeindrucken. Sehr freundliches Personal und gute Angebote, den Regenwald zu Fuß zu erkunden. Kleine Schwäche: Unsere urgemütliche Unterkunft hätte an der einen oder anderen Stelle kleine Reperaturarbeiten benötigt. Insgesamt aber sehr empfehlenswertes, ungewöhnliches Hotel.

This was a wonderful experience that truly grounds you with nature. The hotel staff is kind and helpful, and Jagath the naturalist was very knowledgeable and fun to trek with. We recommend taking the longer trail for a more immersive rainforest experience. However the shorter trail is as good, and includes a waterfall :). The food at the property was very good. We chose to have Sri Lankan cuisine for lunch and it came with a generous array of vegetables. The food felt clean and healthy to eat and is a great option for vegetarians. Breakfast and dinner were also very good. Meals are on set menu. The rooms were cozy and just nice. We enjoyed our experience here.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel, it is very well located in the rainforest, but unfortunately their spa and wellness department was under renovation, so unfortunately this could not be used, a bit sad. We went on the waterfall tour, with their guide JAGATH, it was super good, he is sweet, smiling and laughing a lot. An absolutely perfect guide and all $20 each. Our recommendation is that 1 night is enough if you arrive early, as the first tour starts at 10 at 15. Since nothing much happens apart from their guided tours, the calm and a fantastic nature 👍

Very hospitable staff, at a unique and cozy rooms at a memorable hotel at the centre of Sinharaja rain forest. Absolutely beautiful scenery, lots of birds for bird watchers and nice hikes. (The blue magpies come to a tree 2 meters away from the lounge,) Truly amazing place.

The experience in this hotel was great! The moment we arrived the professional staff made us feel welcome with their friendly service.one of the highlights of our stay was exploring the surrounding forest trails. This is the best place to enjoy the nature.

What an experience our stay at The Rainforest Ecolodge was! Nestled amongst nature, with the most scenic views, we enjoyed our stay to the upmost. The treks and hikes we did with the experienced naturalist, especially the "night walk" will remain embedded in our memories. We were truly able to have the most fulfilling exposure to nature like no other time!! The hotel staff made our stay further worthwhile, attentive to all our needs, always with a friendly smile. The food too was nothing short of excellence, after each meal that we had we left with our stomachs and hearts full... delicious! Looking forward to our next time in this hidden gem soon!

Container cabins are comfortable and have all amenities. Saloon style half door into bathroom is a bit weird for privacy reasons. Food excellent, beautifully presented , tasty and plentiful. Went on a 3 hour guided wildlife walk with Jadah who is an excellent and knowledgeable guide. With his expert help we saw the Sri Lankan giant squirrel, purple faced leaf eating monkeys and many birds, insects and lizards. Jadah also has excellent knowledge of all of the trees, flowers and spices in the rainforest. Would highly recommend his walk - book at reception $US20 pp.

We spent a wonderful two nights here. The location was outstanding, the trekking and bird watching in particular were truly memorable. Mithun and his staff made our stay very enjoyable, their service, and attentiveness was great. The food was tasty and the menus quite innovative. And Nimesh the tracker was a wonderful teacher. We will certainly be back and look forward to it.

We stayed 2 nights in the eco Lodge. The service, food and the staff were amazing. We had very comfy container units to stay. We did a waterfall tour and a bird watching tour. The guide had an extensive knowledge about the fauna and flora. He also did everything to maintain the safety of all of us during the walk which involves crossing slippery rocks and water falls.
