As a hotel to use while traveling, I was very satisfied with the food and the location. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

This hotel is located near Dogo Onsen. Although you need to climb uphill for a while, this small inconvenience is completely made up for by the excellent hot spring facilities. The hotel's hot spring facilities are complete, the environment is clean and comfortable, and you can completely relax. From the warm reception of the service staff to the careful settings in the room, everyone feels at home. If you are looking for a truly relaxing hot spring trip, this is recommended

When you get to Dogo Onsen Station, just walk along this covered street, but you have to go up a hillside! Walking along the main road, there is a small road on a large slope. The room, large bath, and breakfast are all good!

The hotel is very unique. The decoration has a British retro feel and is very clean.

Although it is an old hotel, it is cleanly maintained and was comfortable to use. The staff are also very friendly. The location is a bit high, so it may be difficult for older people to walk.

道後温泉には何回も訪問していましたが、今回初めて利用させて頂きました。 雰囲気がすごく良く、フロント従業員の方の対応も、とても良かったです。 朝食もコアパ良かったです。 次回も利用させて頂きます。

３回目の宿泊でした。ブリティッシュな雰囲気が好きで調度品も素敵なホテルです…女子１人でも安心です。朝食も和食、洋食が選べてどちらも満足度100%又利用したいです。

Nice hotel with a bit of character. As a Brit I was wary of what kind of atrocities might lie in wait at "Old England", but it was very tastefully done, and probably at no little expense! The room was tasteful and clean, nice design, dinner was as good as can be expected of a hotel fixed menu. Breakfast? Well, it was no full English, but no major gripes here either. Wouldn't mind staying her again. Would give it a 4.5 if I could.

It was a large hotel with an antique British atmosphere. The exterior, common areas, and interior were all lovely, and there was a hot spring. The staff were very friendly and I was very satisfied. It was close to the downtown area, but there was a steep hill (downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back), so it was good exercise.

When we arrived at the hotel, we left our car keys there and had our luggage carried to the front desk, where we were shown to our room after check-in. We ate dinner near Asuka no Yu and had breakfast at the hotel, with a choice of Western or Japanese food, which was delicious. After checking out, we had Matsuyama sea bream rice, Uwajima sea bream rice and a tart before heading home. This hotel felt like it was worth more than its price. One thing that bothered us was that the toilet in our room made a loud noise when flushing, which was bothersome. It was disappointing that the ventilation fan in the large public bath made a strange noise so we couldn't relax in it for a while

We had decided to have ``Kurumasushi'' for dinner, but the convenient hotels in Matsuyama weren't great considering the size of the city, but we realized that staying overnight at a Dogo inn wasn't a logical option. This is one of the few options that is a complete hotel, but also has a large hot spring bath inside. It seems to be cheaper on weekdays when business travelers are welcome, but on the day before a holiday, even in December, the prices are higher than hotels in the city. When it first opened, there were many comments that praised the unusual business format, and I remember Hisashi Kashiwai praising it highly, but over the years, the British-style interior has become outdated, and the basic facilities are inferior to modern standards. . I would like to see a decent American brand expand into the city.

I was able to understand the details of the hotel by using the Matsuyama Discount, and the Dogo Onsen was also good, so I would like to use it again when I stay at Dogo again. The Japanese set meal for breakfast was so delicious that I wanted to have lunch as well. was delicious.

The guest room is a semi-double room, so it's a little small at 18 square meters, but it's completely British with William Morris wallpaper! The furniture is also completely British. Amenities include toothpaste sets, razors, and brushes. In addition to shampoo and conditioner, we also have a full lineup of hand soap, shaving foam, lotion, cream, and more. The hot water in the public bath comes from Dogo. Mild hot water. There is a small open air in the back, but there is no view (=_=) There was also a sauna, but it wasn't hot due to a mistake by the staff. Dinner is a full course French meal. I wasn't expecting much, but the food was decent and tasted good. The wine was also plentiful and I was satisfied. However, I chose Japanese food for breakfast, but it was not delicious. Is miso soup, let alone rice, less than instant? Would it have been better to choose Western food? Check-out is at 12:00, so you can go to the Dogo Onsen main building in your yukata. You can also rent baskets and towels. It was at a time when most of the staff were trainees, so it was not possible to evaluate them.
