The hotel has a good environment and facilities, but the service details need to be improved. There is a hot water bottle, but there is a lot of scale inside. I don't dare to use it. The hotel was not what i expected from a 5 star. I believe that they are going to do renovations this year. I had half board and wanted to upgrade to all inclusive but they don’t offer all inclusive had I known this before, I wouldn’t have book at this hotel. So full board was and extra Rs8000 and you could only have 2 glasses of wine or two beers included. I can’t understand how the hotel can’t see that this encourages guests to purchase alcohol outside of the hotel. Anyways the bar staff were exceptional in making you feel welcome and really spoilt my daughter for her birthday. One in particular named Sahil. This guy is truly a diamond in the rough. Our time at the hotel was rainy weather but we still enjoyed it with people like Sahil around. Thank you!

Bad Chevk-in routine It is a very modern hotel too bad the staff and the hotel’s policies are not modern. The hotel is isolated in an area away from facilities. You need transportation to get to a small mall or to the beach. The hotel does run a limited shuttle to the mall and beach. We arrived at the hotel from the Mauritius cruise port at 11:30am. At the front desk they said the rooms will not be assigned until 3pm and we should just sit down until 3 pm. Never asked our names. I said we are Holiday Inn members - didn’t matter - rooms will be assigned at 3pm. However a couple we knew arrived at 12:30pm and were given a room immediately. They did not know why. We also watched numerous people check out while we waited. The 3 pm assignment had nothing to do with the rooms being ready. Rooms are not assigned until 3 pm. By 3 pm there were over 40 people waiting for rooms. Some people decided to go to the mall. Can you imagine 40 people waiting until 3 pm for a bell to ring signaling the rooms are now available. I envisioned a mad rush to get in line for a room. Disgusted I asked for a manager. When I explained to Cecilia that we were waiting since 1130 for a room AND we are HIG members. Cecilia said they have a routine. I asked “isn’t it better to assign rooms as they become available rather than wait until 3 pm to assign all the rooms” She reiterated that they have a routine. So at 3 pm now people are alll lined up to obtain their room assignments. It will take well over an hour to assign the rooms. At 5:30 pm people were still on line to check in. The hotel’s routine is not good for customer satisfaction.

The front desk lady is very good! Super enthusiastic! English communication is smooth! The whole small hotel sparrow is small and complete. There is even a microwave in the room. Breakfast is inevitable outside, there are small flying insects flying next to it. There is no problem with bathing, but some of the bathroom is wooden floor, which feels a bit strange. At night, there are a lot of geckos on the outdoor walls hahahaha ～ The best thing about this small hotel is the location! A few steps behind the hotel is Blue Bay! And you can also go back to the hotel to take a shower after checking out, very intimate! Of course, come back early at night, if you come back from the road, it is quite scary to have no lights in the dark.

We stayed two nights at Ocean Creeks Hotel, paying Rs39,000 for an all-inclusive package, and it was not worth it. At check-in, there was no bedsheet on the bunk bed. Towels smelled bad, and the bed mattress was broken on one side. Saturday morning, a loud blower disrupted breakfast, and our room wasn’t cleaned by 3 PM. The hotel was noisy and overcrowded due to day pass clients, ruining the relaxing atmosphere. We asked for hot chocolate at the bar twice, but only the manager, Brian, eventually got it for us. Poor selection of cocktails in the all inclusive selection. In the afternoon, there was no electricity or air conditioning in our room. Additionally, the minibar wasn’t refilled, and we had to ask reception. After all these issues, we decided to check out early at 9 AM on Sunday and skip the inclusive lunch as we had a bad night. We asked the supervisor if they could deduct the lunch from our Rs3,000 checkout bill. To our surprise, they only offered a Rs1,000 deduction, which we refused. We paid the full amount and left feeling frustrated and confused about how lightly our complaints were taken. The poor management and service make this hotel a definite no-go. We do not recommend it and won’t be coming back.

During the Spring Festival, a family of 6 stayed for 5 nights and it felt great! Not willing to go! This time I stayed at the two hotels of Lishi Mona and Lishi Mei'an. The style is still quite different. The sand of Mona is yellowish and very slightly. The sand on the Mei'an is slightly whiter and thinner. Be careful. The walk is still acceptable; the rooms are larger and more modern; the sea view is better for Mount Mona. Sitting in the seaside is very eye-catching. After a day, the hotel is too lazy to move. If you are chasing dolphins, it is also near the Mount Mona. The pool and meals are not as good as the US shore.

For the first time, they forgot to buy salt for cooking, so they asked them to solve it. The rooms are cleaned twice a week and the facilities are average. The last time I left was at 11pm.
