Service and room are so so
They do some renovation so we have people sit in front of our door all the time. Shouldn’t sell the room that not completely done

My first time in Mauritius was spent at the beautiful Beachcomber Shandrani ! One thing i totally loved from this hotel was the distance from the airport ! After a long flight from the UK it was perfect to just jump into our transfer & be in the hotel within minutes. First impressions of the hotel was fantastic, walking into the lobby to see the infinity pool view along with a sea view was just breathtaking, i cant wait to return to Shandrani Beachcomber in the future.

Not long returned from here, this hotel was my first experience in Mauritius and it was the best I could have asked for. I loved how on the water the resort was and how you could see the ocean from the room. The staff were incredible and the food was honestly amazing. I can't wait to come back.

Everything at Shandrani Resort is amazing!!!! The service was fantastic! Food in the speciality restaurants 😋 Our favorite server was Chandran hope my spelling is correct, at the restaurant next to La Sirius Restuarant. Isabelle Marmite the guest relationship manager went the extra mile ensuring we had the best stay ever. So much so, we have booked to return in October 25. The hotel is set in a tranquil and unspoilt area. I really cannot fault this resort, aside for the Buffet Restuarant Grande Port which was not to our expectations, but I believe it is undergoing renovations and hopefully more variety offered. Blue bay was special as well as the water fall and island speed boat excursion we did with Kushal from Summer Wings Cruise Boat Excursions. What a memorable holiday 💖 Big bonus the resort is close to the airport and no the planes didn't disturb us at all. Also, the resort looks after about 100 stray dogs. They are all named, and some have been rehomed in Europe.

Our 2 days stay was fabulous. Warm welcome. Friendly staff. Various interesting activities . Rooms were so neat & comfortable beds . A variety of yummy food at the buffet . Tropical fruits were si delicious. We were about 50 ladies of yoga group and we really appreciated each & every moment . The sport team coached us in all activities. Mr Stenio was so caring & helpful . Sauna & hammam were above our expectations. We enjoyed playing pool games & badminton with the three entertainers Geovani , Yoan & Shawn . Aqua gym was exciting. Big thanks to all of you . Night entertainment needs improvement. There should be an entertainment team to rock the floor with us & invite people to dance as in other hotels . May be next time . Anyway we danced freely. Thank you guys. Hope to see you again .

This was our 4th visit to Shandrani second time booking a suite (definitely enjoyed the beach service that comes with booking a suite). The staff are friendly, the hotel is beautiful but a little run down and the rooms are in need of an upgrade. We had a mouse in our room and had to ask for a mouse trap to be set, they caught the bugger the morning we were checking out. The hotel is on the flight path so the sound of the planes can be distracting at times. Very short distance to travel from the airport to the hotel. The food at the restaurants are good, book early or you'll need to have your meals at the buffet. The weather on the East Coast is a bit temperamental so I think this will be our last visit to the East Coast for a while.
