Wunderschöne, kleine Anlage mit geschmackvoll eingerichteten Häuser. Tolle, angenehme Betreuung durch die Eigentümer. Ein Frühstück, dass wir erst fotografieren mussten, bevor wir es essen konnten😉 Wird uns als Highlight des Urlaubs in Erinnerung bleiben😘 Merci Antoine pour tous!

Antoine made us feel very welcome on our arrival; extremely friendly & knowledgable; thank-you. He supplies a list of good restaurants; trips; etc. The Good Life are eco lodges. 8 in total. 4 facing the pool & 4 to the rear. Make sure you book a pool facing room. The rooms are bright, airy & open plan…including the bathroom. As it’s an eco lodge the air conditioning is turned off during the day; however we asked for ours to be left & Antoine obliged; but please turn it off if you are out for the day. Our pool view room had a lovely verandah; very peaceful & relaxing at the end of the day. The rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, but no fridge; however you can use their communal fridge to store beers, drinks, snacks, etc. There is no bar, but you can bring alcohol back if you desire. The breakfast is beautiful; different egg choices, fruit, tea/coffee, juices, etc. Lovely pool setting with day beds. The best thing about this place is that it’s quiet !!! You can hear some traffic at times, but it’s mainly peaceful with just the sound of birds. Being in the far north of the island (which is beautiful); you will need wheels to get around. Short walk to local beach & the pretty chapel. The more built up Gran Baie is a 15 minute drive/ride away. 1hr30 from airport (2100MUR) £37 one way. We would both highly recommend The Good Life !!! La situation, l'infrastructure qui est cosy, familiale, mais avec un haut standing, le petit déjeuner et déjeuner, l'accueil, la proximité, le restaurant, le service au restaurant (et la serveuse est vraiment adorable, à l'écoute, serviable) Bref nous avons vraiment passé un super moment, trop court ! Nous n'avions réservé que 2 nuits car nous étions sur le fin de notre séjour mais la prochaine fois nous réserverons au minimum 4 nuits c'est certain

Perfect stay. Hosts are really friendly and accomodating and the place has an amazing vibe. They thought of all the details for a relaxing stay. The temperature of the water in the pool was very pleasant compared to the other places we visited. Garden is really beautiful. Breakfast is outstanding!

Rien à redire sur cet eco lodge : L’accueil et la gentillesse du personnel, les repas incroyablement bons, le cadre idyllique ( très propre et calme ), à côté des plus belles plages de Cap malheureux. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés 🙏🏻 Encore merci pour cet accueil, vous avez été disponible tout le long de notre séjour pour rendre notre voyage encore plus beau et agréable, nous reviendrons c’est sûr. La perfection : un endroit chaleureux où tout est choisi avec goût, un service de qualité, la gentillesse du personnel, la propreté des chambres, un restaurant ou tout est bon (bravo au cuisinier), le calme absolu, un séjour inoubliable et nous reviendrons sans hésiter ! On ne pouvait espérer mieux merci encore pour tout !

Beautiful hideaway in a colorful garden with many birds and a pool which I enjoyed in the late evenings, watching stars and flying foxes. The room was nicely decorated and made me feel at home. The whole staff is amazing, Antoine gave me lots of valuable informations which made my trip so wonderful. The food was delicious! Wish I had stayed there much longer.

Un bel acceuil de la part d’Antoine, il vous explique tout ce qu’il y a à faire aux alentours.. Les lodges sont hyper confortables et les parties communes sympa et calmes.. Cap malheureux est un petit village joli et un peu à l’écart du grand bruit de grand baie et peyrebeyre. Encore merci 🙏
