Total repeat. Loved the stay.
This place is a wonderful experience. Rob and his wife have done something special on top of this mountain and we feel fortunate to have been allowed to stay. Big rooms, Great views, sunset fire, amazing dinner, lovely spot for the family.

Tenho o privilégio de conhecer alguns lugares ao redor do mundo. Dito isso,posso dizer que o Ashbourne foi um dos 5 melhores lugares que ja me hospedei na minha vida.
Tudo foi perfeito. O dono do local, Rob, é fantastico. Voce se sente em casa.
Se voce tiver qualquer dúvida sobre onde se hospedar nesta região, nao pense mais. Este é o lugar! Absolutamente fantástico!

Pour arriver chez Rob, il faut le mériter ! La route est assez cahotique (carrugated road) mais une fois arrivéw, c'est que du bonheur. Un accueil souriant, agréable, familial et sympa. On se sent comme à la maison. Et l'accueil des nombreux chiens est très cool ! Et quelle maison. Superbe maison qui est très belle. La chambre que nous avons eue fut incroyable, belle vue, deux balcons, très spacieuse, propre et élégante. Tout fut PARFAIT ! Pour l'apéro, on se sert soi-même dans un frigo, un verre de vin et hop, on l'inscrit sur une ardoise. C'est simple, basé sur le confiance. Le repas fut très bon et ce fut un plaisir de passer une nuit dans cette maison d'hôtes. Un grand merci pour votre accueil.

We stayed 2 nights at Ashbourne as a part of our honeymoon. Although it was a little bit cloudy and cold and we were not able to see the sunsets, it did not matter, because the rest of the stay more than made up for it. We loved the cosy meals at the fireplace: truly delicious food and a great ambiance. The place is really well taken care of and we enjoyed the personal chats with the owner and staff. We would definitely recommend Ashbourne for a weekend get a way or good place to stay (and get pampered) during a longer trip.

Nous avons seulement regretté de ne pas avoir eu plus de temps pour profiter de cet endroit incroyable. La situation sur le sommet d une colline permet d avoir des levers et couchers de soleil extraordinaires, la cuisine est excellente (notre meilleur dîner en AFS), la maison et les chambres ont un charme fou. Rob a été particulièrement accueillant et bienveillant avec mes garçons et nous a donner de précieux conseils pour la suite de notre périple. Il faut y aller sans hésiter !

Incredible rooms, food and hospitality. The views and sunsets are amazing as well! A brilliant base for safaris to Kruger. We were so comfortable and well looked after during our stay here and it definitely exceeded our expectations in a number of ways.

Fantastisch, prachtig, magisch! Wat een top accommodatie, geen minpunt te noemen. Het eten was ook echt heerlijk, alles is zo mooi en goed verzorgd. De zonsondergangen zo mooi, de ligging is echt schitterend. Wij komen graag nog eens terug!
