The staff service is very friendly and helpful, unfortunately they assigned us a room, where the bathroom had no ventilation, with an incredible bad smell. Which made our stay for two nights uncomfortable and unpleasant. Complete breakfast, a great variety.

Nice hotel and very committed to good service but with a number of shortcomings: elevators are small, hot and slow as molasses or out of order. The dinner buffet is very expensive but uninspiring. Also the WiFi is bad, slow and drops all the time. The aircon control is a bit weird and doesn’t obey the temperature settings, even at 28C I have to turn it on and off to avoid getting too cold. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

Osteria Tropica Burger and pizza were very nice. A special thanks to all the teams Bodwin, Prasad, and Sebastian. The waiters were great, the service was excellent, and the staff was friendly. The view from outside was also great. My son said it was the BEST PIZZA IN MALTA! We're so happy to share our experience. #OsteriaTropica #BestPizzaInMalta #AmazingService #FriendlyStaff

Chandan was great, he attended to us in the restaurant. He was friendly with a lovely smile. Overall great hotel, spa and staff. Beautiful surroundings pools, gym and spa. Great evenings of entertainment during the weekdays. The only thing that wasn't great, the agent had booked 3 ladies in a double room. The hotel were fully booked so we had to manage.

Really nice very clean hotel. The staff were the best. Nothing too much trouble. The only disappointment was there was only 1 place to eat in the All inclusive deal Tui. There was a snack bar by the pools. Cost 50 euros for 3 hamburger meals. You had to go get dressed to eat in the main dinning area at lunch. Very quiet area no shops or restaurants close by. Lovely clean area though & the sea was right in front. Looked out to Gozo & the boats left from the jetty.

We stayed at this hotel for 4/5 days. We arrived at dawn and were welcomed by Manuel, and my God how kind and welcoming he was. He explained to us everything about the hotel and about the Malta, tours, breakfast and schedule about everything. I would like to leave our many thanks to him here. One of the best employees. And about the hotel, everything very clean, well located, excellent breakfast and dinner too. Note 10! I definitely want to go back to stay longer. Thank you Manuel e Hotel Labranda!!

We were all inclusive, the food was good, different themes each night, good quality and tasty dishes so we was impressed with that. The room was clean and spacious, beds firm but not an issue, air conditioning is set to a low of 23c with three speeds, it was fine, kept the room cool. The drink situation is a joke, so first night in the restaurant it was very busy took 15 minutes to find a table, once we did, took another 10 minutes to get the attention of a server, we asked for two diet cokes, they never came. There are warnings in the elevator warning you of busy times in the restaurant to be honest don’t bother going between 7:45-8:15pm you will be waiting at least 20 minutes to get a table. The restaurant ran out of cutlery twice at dinner service, I had to take cutlery from a table that had been reset. There is a water station which is turned on during breakfast but off at lunch and dinner, I just don’t understand the thinking behind this, when the restaurant is busy surely it is easier to let people help themselves. When trying to order a drink in the evening or at the pool bar a guy is standing in front of the bar he asks you what you want then relays this to the person behind the bar, they tell you to take a seat and they will bring it over, but because they are busy and prioritise paying guests it take 15-20 minutes before your drink arrives, it’s just inefficient. This hotel caters for non all inclusive guests and I think they prioritise guest who pay for drinks, all the staff are very friendly and polite but there is not enough of them and it’s was a frustrating experience for us as all inclusive guests. The hotels is in a very quiet location, very close to the port to gozo, nothing much around the area. We had a car but bus services are good around Malta so easy to get around the island. Beds made every day but they left a load of glasses in the room & didn’t change the towels in the 5 days we were there. I won’t be returning to this hotel, just not that impressed really.
Response from Property: Dear Mr Marc, We thank you for your review and we appreciate your feedback .Thank you for your compliments , Regarding not having water during lunch or dinner this depends on what package one has booked and also to offer you tap water this is not advisable as abroad the tap water is drinkable and although one can drink tap water it may upset ones stomach and therefore our restaurants like most if not all hotels and restaurants in Malta stock up with mineral bottled water. I assure you we do not prefer or give priority to guests who pay etc and if it came across in such a manner this for sure was not our intention and we will do our best to be more attentive next time. Booked a EasyJet holiday package to this hotel so had a low expectation but it eneded up being one of the best holidays we have every had. The staff are amazing, the facilities are great and the location is perfect so we have come home very happy.

Really enjoyed our holiday, great hotel and entertainment. Friendly, helpful staff. We stayed as bed and breakfast, the food was fresh and lots of choice, good quality. we were able to pay for an evening meal in the hotel's restaurant one night, otherwise went to Italian restaurant next door and also ordered through volt app for food delivery. The entertainment at the hotel was great, aqua aerobics was very good and instructors were brilliant. Bar staff polite and attentive. Pool's are very clean and great for swimming. Rooms had everything I needed, cleaned daily and comfortable. There is a gift shop on site but it also sells some basics from hair conditioner to after sun and sun cream. Outside there is a van ( known as King of Kings) that sells food, drinks and gifts at reasonable prices. Easy to get around the island with local buses, bus stop just around the corner, tickets cost 2.50 euros. Thank you Labranda and staff for a great stay.
