Although the hotel structure looks nice, it is totally badly maintained, with pieces of walls, pools, road falling down. The staff tries is best to be kind and helpful however the service is simply zero: nobody speaks a word of English, food and beverage takes ages and the restaurant orders close too soon (no later than 8:15-8:30). We had a villa with pool but every day we were out on trip and once back everyday we had to ask for pool cleaning. Nevertheless the outer floor was dirty and they never cleaned up. The only acceptable element was the breakfast: nice and rich, even if by the time they open at 7 am, not so much is ready and available. For the price we paid the value for money is simply ridiculous. The position is far away from everything however it could have been worth it if the service was at least decent. It might be that the years of covid restrictions did not help however we must admit that we would not recommend it to anyone.

We were welcomed warmly by Joanne who was so helpful and friendly. The room was stunning with a beautiful view of the river from the balcony. The bathroom is enormous and I have never seen such a colossal bathtub in a hotel room before. It was such a fantastic experience to soak in a tub so deep! I am tall and yet I couldn't reach the end of the tub! Then one evening we met Jasper who took great care of us too in the restaurant and the bar. Both Jasper and Joanne excelled in their care and we can't thank them enough! The location of the hotel is great for the Botanical Gardens... they even offer a buggy to take you to the gate! The spa was really relaxing and enjoyable. Came away feeling chilled and unwound! Would love to go back in the future!

The hotel shuttle bus took us directly to the back door of the hotel, which was only 200 meters away. It was very convenient. The breakfast buffet is very rich, and Chinese and Western food are basically all Dai characteristics. I stayed for two days and experienced the sunset ceremony and Dai paper making. There are many Dai-style activities that I haven't had time to try in the future. Next time I come to Banna, I will choose Anantara.

The overall environment of the hotel is very quiet, and it is simply a paradise compared to the crowded scenic spots during the National Day. The back door of the hotel is the botanical garden parking lot, and it is easy and pleasant to visit the botanical garden. Meals: I like the hotel breakfast and barbecue buffet. Although the Manfeilong restaurant is not big, every dish is exquisite and delicious. It is located by the Rosso River, under the sunset and lights, and the atmosphere is full. Swimming pool: The hotel has a small heated children's pool with an outdoor water temperature of 28 degrees, which satisfies the children's desire to play in the water. During the stay in the hotel, you can enjoy unlimited coffee and tea at Daijia Pavilion, and the first-day mini bar in the room.

The best choice of hotel near the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, pure Southeast Asian style, large enough room, the hotel is just a short walk from the parking lot to the main entrance of the Botanical Garden. The only drawback is that the breakfast is a bit monotonous. I have to mention the Platinum Photography in the hotel, which unexpectedly took very good photos. If I had known, the whole family would have changed clothes and taken photos together.

The shooting technology is amazing, and you can also do makeup (pay separately, the price is reasonable). Accessories, clothes, shoes are all available, and the finished film is satisfactory.
