Reservations definitely not guaranteed. I’d made a reservation months in advance for a wedding weekend and was thrilled to get the last available room. I’m sure if we’d actually gotten to stay here my review would be much different. Instead months later we received a call telling us our reservation had been canceled because they were renting the place to a group. No apology, no sense that they cared at all that they’d just left us scrambling to find alternative accommodations. The website does show the whole place can be rented. What it doesn’t say is that they’ll opt to do this even when all rooms are booked. Of course that would be bad for business, but so is deception. I was then asked if I wanted to rebook at another time. I didn’t need a reservation at a later date, I needed the one I had! Why would I choose to do so after she just left me in the position I made sure to avoid by booking early. I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews, and this is no exception. In fact I rarely do. But I felt people should know that a reservation here means virtually nothing. If your date isn't flexible, have a back up plan or you may find yourself staying at a roadside motel instead.
