Good basic 3 star hotel, old but clean, had everything we needed, just the one hydronic heater wasnt really enough to keep the room warm so it was a tad chilly but they did supply an extra heater in the bathroom which helped that end of the room so that was good. Handy to Mt Buller which is what we were after. Don't forget bread or milk as you will pay an absolute premium for it at their store.

I’ve been coming the motor inn for many years. It has always been a really fun and friendly experience up until now. The new management don’t appear to like guests or understand it’s not really a thing to turn away people from a bar on an AFL semi final weekend. Pretty flat and uninspiring ‘service’. Next time, I’ll stay in Mansfield. No wonder this place is empty…

No wonder the place is empty….. poor hospitality, flat old pillows, freezing rooms, and no footy on in the bar. New owners have taken this place to the toilet. After coming here for years, I’ll be staying somewhere else next time!

Very noisy,hear everything from other rooms, we were told where to park and did so then somebody else parked in front of our room started reving his car at 6.30 in the morning, badly lit at night, we drove straight past it 10pm , definitely would not recommend it to anybody, our total bill was taken out in December without our knowledge.

I got a room that smelled of mildew, was'nt properly ventilated with a small window, lacked power points (ie. you cannot have the electronic clock, bedside lights, or electric blanket working at the same time because there's only one point to share among these utilities). I did'nt sleep well that night. There was something unwelcoming about that Room 18.

Great option if going to mt.buller. self contained, large room, warm with dining option and ski hire. Perfect for families.
