Bottonuto Milan|1.1km from Cantine a Milano
This is a beautiful hotel and we had a great time. The hotel was nice a clean, had a nice garden, the restaurant was nice and the bar was open until late. We stayed on the 2nd floor and our room was nice and spacious, aircon was great, the mini bar was well stocked and the maid came everyday. Our view out the window was nice too, we could see the cobbled streets and the tram passing by, it kind of looked like a postcard. The restaurant was nice, staff was friendly and if you like traditional Italian food then you would enjoy it. The breakfast was also nice we went down every morning, it was the same thing everyday but that was ok because it was good food. Only thing is tho, there were no omelettes as standard, I think they could have made you one but you had to pay extra (€8) Let’s talk about the bar. The bar was amazing, not only was it open til late but the bar staff were very knowledgeable on anything drink related. There wasn’t a drink that the lovely Henry or Paulo couldn’t make you. Whilst I am on the Henry and Paulo subject, I’d like to take this opportunity to just say how amazing they are. They introduced themselves and asked our names and it was lovely service ever since. They made us feel welcome, kept the amazing drinks flowing, learnt early on what kind of drinks we liked and kept the drinks coming. The service from them two was absolutely outstanding and we would visit again just to see them. They are real assets to the hotel. Thank you. The hotel itself is not far away from the duomo. We just took the subway, it was 3 stops. Once you get to the duomo you can also do the bus tours, we did the 4 tours over 48 hours which was nice. We also did the canal cruise which wasn’t far from the hotel too. Immediately outside the hotel you can also hire bikes and scooters. You just have to download the app if you haven’t already and go. All in all the hotel was great, service was great, location was great and we love Henry.

Went on a lil solo trip for the weekend and this was such a good location, there’s all kinda of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, the duomo is super close, and central station is like 15 mins away. Besides the great location, the staff was also very nice (and they gave me a free tote bag even though I wanted to pay for it, it has their logo on it so it’ll be a cute memory)!!!!! And the room was very clean, just slightly cold in the winter like everywhere else, so just remember to pack well. Each hostel has their own bathroom, which is nice. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink, and electric towel rack to heat up and dry your towels. Very nice. Bathroom also comes with soap, toilet paper, shampoo, and body wash. The hostel also hosts parties and stuff, so it’s an easy way to meet new people. But the hostel also seems to attract nice and friendly guests, because I met some great people literally within 5 minutes of entering my room. :) I’ll definitely book again, but maybe at one of their other locations in Rome or Florence. (Picture attached is of the entrance of the hostel)

Scam Hostel. Paying for a nice room as far as you can see on the web site photos but AC’s room doesn’t work. I Made a complaint 4 times the same day I checked in since I got to the room… first time I complained and I ask for the AC remote control and front desk employees said there is only one remote control per floor. Came to my room and supposed to set the Temperature up the unit to 20 degrees but the unit has a message on te AC screen saying F0 which looking on the web is a temp pressure valve failure. The Hostel staff tells you that next day an AC Technician guy will come to repair ir. Next mourning You leave the hotel to do your vacation schedule and once you get back to the hotel… surprise… AC still not working. It’s seems its hasn’t been working for a while. Personal at the front desk are ashamed because it’s repetitive and the owners don’t care about it. Misleading advertising o a tourist’s scam. Bottom line. Staffs tell me not to worry and ask for money back at the end of my stay. Mean while… this suckers are ruining my 3 nights Milano trip and they couldn’t care less..

FALSE ADVERTISING. DECEPTIVE AND UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. This company knows the property does not have functional wifi and yet advertises it anyway. When I contacted them about the wifi not working, they assured me they would resolve it. They then did not follow up with me. So when I contacted them again, they then lied to me, claiming the lack of wifi was due to an unexpected service outage. However, I have now seen from over 30 reviews across several different websites that they ALWAYS have this dysfunctional wifi. When I asked for evidence that it was a service provider problem, they did not provide it. So their assertion that this was somehow an unexpected outage appears to be simply a lie so that they had an excuse not to offer any refund. Even after I confronted them with the fact that they gave me misinformation and that they were deceptively advertising that they had in-room wifi--when they absolutely did not--their customer service was terrible and they have fought tooth and nail against giving even a minimal, reasonable refund. Their customer service has been characterized by phony assurances and apologies accompanied by zero action, and generally no follow-up unless I initiate. They have assuredly now misled hundreds, maybe thousands of consumers who believed they were purchasing a room from the 21st Century that actually has functional wifi. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

(+) The beautifully renovated hotel is situated quite close to Stazione Milano Centrale (central train station) and all the important and impressive sightseeings, to which you can go by tram and also on foot for those who love walking (e.x. Duomo, Scala di Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanouele II, Monumento a Leonardo da Vinci, Monumento a Guiseppe Garibaldi, Parco Sempione, Castello Sforzesco, Arco della Pace, Santa Maria Delle Grazie, Fabricio Bossio Clock Tower, Bosco Verticale). Although the check-in is at 14.00, our room was fortunately ready a bit earlier in order to get rest sooner. The breakfast was more than satisfying (we loved the 4 different types of croissants, lemon pie and cake were super delicious, nice cappuccino). Last but not least, special thanks to Mr. Alan, the kindest and most helpful receptionist, who was willing to find the easiest way in order for us to visit the worthy to see districts in Milan, such as Navigli and Brera. Thank you again for your exceptional hospitality! (-) The carpet in the lobby is not necessary, especially during the summer period.

The Aparthotel Meneghino was fantastic and it exceeded our expectations. The room was huge and we had a nice view of the Piazza Cinque Giornate. There are many restaurants nearby and you can easily walk to the Duomo. There is a tram stop where you can easily access most of Milan in one journey. We have to thank Tatiana so much for making our trip an easy one. She spent a lot of time with us making sure we knew where we were going. It was invaluable advice. We will definitely return to Milan and we would only think of staying at the Aparthotel Meneghino.
