Best Hotels near Nishi-Ei Station, Minamikyushu

Hotels in Japan are relatively luxurious and have ample space. If you go to the hot springs in the morning, you can even see the unparalleled sea view of Sakurajima. It is well worth the price. The space in the room is also very sufficient, and the facilities and supplies are complete. However, the only thing I can be picky about is The location of the hotel is very inconvenient. If you miss the bus to the city, it will be very inconvenient to travel between the hotel and the city.

The Sherton Hotel in Kagoshima was an absolute gem of a hotel! This is our first visit to Japan, and we are admittedly nervous about the language barrier and cultural change from the US. From the moment we checked in, the staff has bent over backwards to make sure we are comfortable and have done a fantastic job to make this stay completely comfortable and enjoyable. The location is perfect right at the center of downtown Kagoshima, and the rooms, restaurants, and common spaces have more in common with a Four Seasons than with what is standard Sheraton in the US. We were not able to take advantage of the spa, but the Onsen (Hot Springs Sauna) was so relaxing and rejuvenating — especially after 26 hours of flights to get here! HIGHLY recommended. Thank you to the staff that has helped make our 4 days in Kagoshima a memorable experience! Now off to Hiroshima!

I had a family use a room (Japanese style room) with tatami mats for two nights. It was a pity that the child was as small as 9 months, and the high-high and the grip were popular, and the hotel with only ordinary beds could not move around, and when I went to bed, I was afraid of falling unless I was a futon, so I was looking for a room with tatami mats. I found Mr. Icott around that time. I had all the furniture and home appliances, so I felt very relaxed as if I was at home. It was very nice that the children could move around. And it was very beautiful. At the time of check-in, I was caught in a traffic jam and couldn't make it in time, but the staff was very polite to explain the procedure carefully by phone. I definitely want to use it again.

View is great. We got to see sakurajima from our room (although it was foggy for 2 days). The room is spacious and is big enough to open 2 huge luggage.

Since it was an evening check-in, the lobby was crowded and there was a line, but there was tea and water on the server and I was very thirsty, so I was saved by the waiting time for the guide. The palace has a calm atmosphere like an inn from the corridor. The room you entered is luxurious, as rumors say, the room is large enough, and the ocean view spreading through the pine forest from the window is even in the cloudy sky when you stay. It is a sufficiently satisfying view and you can go out to the veranda and look at it. (However, please note that the balcony was about to fall when the position of the balcony was low.) The fresh flowers of Casablanca displayed between the floors look nice and nice, but they have a strong scent, so My husband was not good at Japanese style rooms. (I thought I would lower it, but I heard that I didn't have to do that much.) The indoor bath is more solid than expected, and the lotion of snow skin spirit placed in the wash basin is a very nice service for women. This is Su. I also received a newspaper in the morning. However, it can happen anywhere, but when I was sleeping in bed at night, I heard the sound of children running around on the upper floor and the voice of people gathering and talking loudly in the next room. Fortunately, it was good because it became quiet after 23:00. I don't think you can hear it in the next room if it's a normal voice, but I think it's better for those staying in the future to be careful with each other. The expected bath was close to the palace and the interior was very large, and the temperature was set to be soaked for a long time, but it felt like a public bath rather than a hot spring. By the way, according to my husband, it is wise to refrain from using the men's open-air bath during bright hours. For the dishes, I asked for a black pork shabu-shabu with a cup of Izo Mori. We had a relaxing meal in a corner space that can be used by 8 adults in the digging ceremony. The content is so rich that I can't eat it, and I'm very satisfied with the amount of main pork that I think there will be 2 ～ 3 servings in Tokyo. The next morning's Japanese food was not a buffet, so I was able to relax and relax at the set, and I was able to take out coffee on my way home. The hall was very large and spacious, and although there should be a lot of guests, I was able to spend a relaxing time without feeling cramped. Thanks to you, I was able to stay very comfortably. Stayed 2 nights in end Jan 2023. Hotel is located directly across the Kagoshima Chuo Station which is convenient if you need to take the train early morning, or explore the other area, as the bus and tram line is nearby as well.  You can access the hotel via the round link from the station on the 2nd floor and cross a road at the end of the link or via the underground basement beside the shopping mall next to the station on level 1, completely sheltered. There is a nice food place at the basement of the hotel and a mart just beside the hotel on level 1. The reception is on the 7th floor where you can get toiletries like cleansing gel,  razor, comb, cotton bud, etc. Check in was fast and simple, though check in time is fixed at 3 pm.  Staff were friendly. Hotel is clean and well maintained.  Rooms were reasonably big for hotels in Japan. Bathroom have separate shower and tub area.  Good view of the ferries wheel across my room.  Bed was comfy, sleeping robe provided. Safe deposit box not working though. Wifi is reasonably good.  Would consider staying again if coming to this area.

Very poor, TRIP.Com booking hotel information is wrong, the picture is misleading, the type of room is not the same, call to inquire, can not get an instant reply, so that the hotel and the passengers have objections. After the complaint, it was found that trip.com immediately deleted the wrong picture, which was very slippery and would not be booked by trip.com. It was very unsatisfactory. Let the whole journey be destroyed! Will consider complaints from the Consumer Council.

Great location, on the same floor of exit of the JR station. Good breakfast. Clean room. Discount for car park.
