I love the location and the amenities. Room has a fridge and microwave which is superbe. The cleanliness is not so perfect. The service is average

Very tired hotel in need of a good overhaul, but clean enough and reasonable value for money as it’s very cheap. Good pubs to eat in just up the road

Very dated hotel that’s in desperate need of an overhaul. There’s a bit of an odd smell in reception and the corridors, but ok once in the room. The bed was very old and basic but managed a reasonable nights sleep. Not many dining options within a short distance, but a really good pub The Pear Tree about 20 minutes walk where there’s good food at very reasonable prices

Spar right outside so that was convenient, staff were lovely, pillows came with mints which I thought was quite nice and a mini fridge. but room had a funny smell and bed was really sunken into but it was a cheap room rate so can’t really complain much!

Room had cobwebs on the ceiling and light fixtures. Bath had stains inside and biscuit crumbs on the carpet

Room wasn’t cleaned properly plus room lights where flickering which my wife had told the reception

Very accomodating staff and very friendly
