The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort

Had a great holiday at the beautiful Westin. The 45-minute flight distance from Male Airport is just right, and the hotel's pick-up and drop-off services are very attentive. Our order included breakfast and dinner, and one of the dinners could be reserved at the Japanese restaurant. The buffet has a rich variety and you can taste food from different countries. Due to the strong wind and waves during this period, unfortunately we were unable to participate in sea activities such as paddle boarding, but the coaches held a fierce volleyball match in the swimming pool. You can see some corals 🪸 and tropical fish 🐠 while snorkeling. The room facilities are impeccable. The most impressive thing is the enthusiasm of the staff. Whether it is the welcome and farewell queue at the pier, the chat in the restaurant, or the greetings when we meet on the road, it makes you feel as if you are in a familiar community and feel more relaxed and comfortable. If there is a chance in the future, I will come again!

I stayed in No. 145 Water Pool House for 2 nights. It’s a great place where you can see the sunrise and sunset. There is a 6-foot-by-6-foot glass window on the floor of the room where you can watch fish. Unfortunately, the wind and waves are too strong so you can’t snorkel outside the terrace. The service quality of the staff is high. On my birthday, after the music performance in the restaurant, all the staff suddenly sang happy birthday together and presented me with a birthday cake with my name on it. I was very happy and touched.

Siamo stati al Westin a marzo 2024, io, mio marito e nostro figlio di 8 anni. Abbiamo scelto una camera sulla spiaggia perche’ il bambino potesse entrare e uscire dall’acqua in libertà. Che dire? L’albergo è bellissimo, camere molto curate e pulite. Personale disponibile e attento. Una menzione speciale al personale del Kids club, nonostante ci fossero pochi bambini nostro figlio si è divertito moltissimo. Il ristorante del buffet (colazione e cena) buono, forse poca varietà di pietanze occidentali ma del resto siamo alle Maldive e non in Europa! L’atollo e’ un paradiso, non ci sono parole per descrivere la bellezza della fauna e flora marina. Ottime anche le escursioni organizzate dall’hotel. Assolutamente consigliato
