The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful. The Japanese style room was large and a teapot with tea was provided. The hotel had a breakfast buffet with very good food and hot drinks that opened at 6:30 am. We appreciated the early morning opening as we wanted to hike and could get an early start. Most restaurants /shops in MIyako open at 10. There are plenty of great restaurants downtown and surrounding areas, about a 30-40 minute walk. The hotel is also willing to call a cab. After a long day of hiking it was great to be able to use the onsen in the hotel. We would stay there again when visiting Japan.

The hotel is best reached by car. We came by train and then it's a short walk. We have asked the staff to call for a taxi to Jodogahama, which s a hghlight of the area. The hotel has suffered from the tsunami but s in a good state now. We had a spacious seaview room. It has convenient amenities and onsen. The dinner and breakfast should not be missed as they are very good.

The room and public bath were clean and comfortable. I think it would have been better if the amenities were a little more substantial.

It's perfect for a family stay.

This time I stayed with my dog ​​to celebrate my wife's birthday present. At the time of check-in, the reception at the front desk was very polite and pleasant, and I received a gift of goat milk for my dog. The room was clean and spacious, and it was nice to be able to take a relaxing bath in the large public bath. Dinner is served in the room, and is made with local ingredients, such as grilled soft abalone dance, Miyako salmon and cod sashimi, grilled squid with miso, fried oysters, and the dessert is a local cuisine Sutsugi. It was a satisfying dinner. The breakfast was so delicious with oysters and so many items that I couldn't eat it all, especially the seaweed miso soup was delicious and I replaced the rice. The dinner and breakfast staff were very nice and helpful. I could see Miyako Bay from the window and the morning sun was beautiful. The location of the hotel was also good, and it was nice to be able to walk the dog to the ferry terminal side and the seaside. I would like to recommend this hotel to everyone as a hotel where you can stay while enjoying sightseeing in Sanriku with your dog. I would like to stay here again in the warmer months. It was good that my wife was also very relaxed and pleased. Thank you to all the hotel staff.
