Mole Creek Cabins

We spent 3 nights in a cabin which had a wonderful view of the mountain range. The cabin was very clean, had a well appointed kitchen, and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was adequate heating and cooling and the cabin had a TV that can be viewed from the couch or the bed. There are 2 small things i need to mention. The shower is pretty cosy so for anyone who is slightly larger (like me) or taller than 6 foot, it is a bit of a squeeze, and as there are no allocated car parks for each cabin, its 1st in best dressed, so if you arrive late, be prepared that you may need to park away from your cabin. Regardless of these small concerns, we will definately stay here again on our next visit. Thanks to our wonderful hosts for providing a comfortable and clean cabin for us to use on our holiday.

Beautiful comfortable cabin with a beautiful view! Clean, well organized, everything a traveler would need. Close to Mole Creek(local pub is worth a visit!) and Chudleigh (Honey place is great). 1.5 hrs to Cradle Mountain Ntl Park. Alum Cliff and Westmoreland Falls hikes close by. Definitely recommend! As a family reunion we stayed in the Farmhouse - there was plenty of room to spread out, every one had a bedroom and it was toasty warm. The views across the the Great Western Tiers was spectacular and one morning we woke to a dusting of snow!

Booked through *********** for a couple nights so that we could explore the local area. So grateful that the staff were to direct us to the local gems (mole creek pub was delicious!) The cabin was warm and inviting, everything bright and fresh and presented beautifully! Kids enjoyed the WiFi access but my favourite feature had to the view from the deck and the little native visitors early in the morning. Kitchen had everything you'd need to cook if you wanted. Bed was comfy and the linen was clean and fresh. Such a family friendly place, a good jumping off spot for the numerous touristy things in the area (the caves are a must do!) Thanks for having us, Ramesh! We will be back again soon :)

No one around to assist, seating was awful, shower had the wet curtain syndrome and no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. The instructions in manual did not truly reflect what needed to be done. No hot plate other than a single plug variety. Cold and dark cabins which are poorly designed and you could clearly hear what was being said next door. One good thing was the bed reasonable quality.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. Very cosy, clean and tidy cabin, well appointed with television and wifi. Reverse cycle heating/cooling, cooking facilities and utensils etc. Very well set up for a longer stay if necessary.

We arrived in Launceston to word of an unexpected severe storm which was affecting a large swath of Tasmania, including Mole Creek where we had booked a four-night stay. Rachel and Ramesh went out of their way to make sure we had safe alternative lodging for the first night and kept us informed of the status at Mole Creek Cabins so that we could safely and comfortably move there the following day. We were overwhelmed by their concern and their hospitality. The cabins themselves were delightfully comfortable and well fitted-out with supplies. We had the studio cabin and there was plenty of room for myself and my adult daughter, along with efficient heating, all the cooking supplies we needed, and plenty of local information. The convenience of the proximity to the Trowunna Tasmanian Devil Sanctuary was an added bonus. Thank you Rachel and Ramesh we highly recommend this accommodation and we hope to come back some day.

The photos and views are fantastic with a very homely and cosy feel. Unfortunately, after that there were some let downs. Check in meant you were given a code to open the key safe to get your room key. A broken switch in the kitchen and exposed wires on the electic blanket controller didn't auger well. Tape on the exposed wires indicated someone know about it and had just tried to patch it up - c'mon, it should have just been replaced. The bed was extremely hard and even the "couch" was just a wooden form with a thin cushion on top, as was the second, single bed. Because it was so cold overnight the heater had to be running all the time and the whole cabin creaked all night as the timber moved. Guests were required to wash and dry and put away all the dishes and even bag their rubbish and place it in another bin at the front of the property, otherwise there was a threat of charging you for "extra" cleaning. I'd wash the dishes anyway but I'd normally leave them to dry - then you know they've been washed at least. Frankly, I got the impression the owners were trying to do as little as possible other than change the bedsheets and get the guests to do the rest. Lovely views first thing in the morning but the overall experience was let down in other areas. Don't think I'd stay there again.

We had booked two cabins here for 2 nights. We got a fairly new cabin, unfortunately my daughter and son in law got the old cabin which certainly needs refurbishing Except this short coming, the cabins were quite comfortable and all amenities well provided.
