Mi hijo me ha llevado a éste sitio tan bonito para enseñar, dónde puedo hacer un retiro. No nos han dejado entrar en la terraza para tomar algo, porque hemos llevado nuestro perro de agua español, que es antialérgico y no molesta a nadie. Pensaba que es un sitio espiritual y hablan mucho de "holístico", pero estoy decepcionada. El perro es parte de la familia y ha sido sólo para informarme sobre el sitio. No para alojarme con él. Acepto las normas, pero este comportamiento inflexible me parece desproporcionado para un lugar espiritual. En todas las terrazas en España normalmente aceptan perros. No volveré y no lo recomendaré.

I recently stayed at Shanti Som Marbella Wellbeing Retreat, and I absolutely loved it. The staff were amazing—so friendly, helpful, and always there when you needed them. As someone who went solo, I felt very safe the whole time. The whole place is spotless, and my room was great—really clean and comfortable. The overall vibe of the retreat is so calm and peaceful, which made it easy to relax and just unwind. I slept so well. The food was a big highlight. Every meal was made fresh and delicious, especially the lunches. I took part in the yoga and meditation classes, which were both really good, however the stand-out was the breath work class. It was my first time trying it, and I couldn’t believe how powerful it was—such an amazing experience. By the time I left, I felt completely relaxed and like I’d cleared my head. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Wow what a lovely spa retreat in the hills of Monda, Spain. I had a two night stay on my own and have come away feeling very chilled and relaxed 👌 The whole team from reception, restaurant and Spa where very friendly, helpful and nothing was to much trouble. My spa treatments were excellent and my massage on the last day was one of the best I have ever had! I will definitely be going back. Thank you Shanti Som for a very memorable stay 👌

I wanted to love this hotel so much, the staff were phenomenal. The setting is lovely. It’s really great value. There are a few buts, the layout of the rooms are all around the restaurant and mine in particular was between the kitchen and the dining area, so if you wanted an early night or a lie-in, it’s not ideal. Also the air conditioning, whatever temperature it was on, was cold, and if you turned it off, it was hot, so I did not sleep that well. I found a baby snake in my room at 4 am which meant I didn’t sleep the rest of the time. And it’s the little things like there’s no Wi-Fi in the gym, but they have three excellent machines that when they’re connected to Wi-Fi offer great classes. The staff could not have done enough for you. I’m torn if I would stay again, sleep is important.

Visited Shanti Som with a friend. From the minute we arrived the staff couldn’t do enough for us. They quickly learn your name and call you by your first names throughout your stay. The rooms were amazing. We had booked separate rooms and were fortunate to stay in the deluxe rooms. The food was amazing. I am sure I actually put on weight!! It was so nice to be able to sit outside to eat all your meals in a courtyard setting with plenty of shade provided. We had booked the relaxation retreat so had yoga and meditation on a daily basis. I was nervous before hand due to my limited yoga experience however there was all abilities in each class and there was no pressure or judgement. The instructors gave alternative poses ranging in difficulty to incorporate everyone. I had a deep tissue massage which was amazing and very thorough!! The massage therapist checked throughout to ensure the level of pressure was suitable. I also had a facial which again was lovely. My friend had two treatments and loved them both. The pool area was small but sufficient and set within the grounds so was very peaceful. Rather than singling out individual staff members I would say to the management that all the staff I experienced were fantastic. We had an amazing stay and are already planning a return visit in 2025.

I’ve just returned home feeling properly zen after trying out the mens spa package, which for me was a deep tissue massage from Irene followed by a mens facial. Feel amazing, properly relaxed and restored. Highly recommend! Also had lunch which was delicious and very restful in the courtyard. Los of other solo dinners, as well as couples and a few small groups, very relaxing after my treatments.

I spent 4 wonderful days here celebrating a friends significant birthday. From the minute we arrived, we experienced excellent service. The decor was both calming and beautiful, the food was delicious and the general atmosphere was very calming. We joined approx 3 classes per day (yoga and pliates) and felt wonderful by the end of our trip. We will definitely return.
