We had 2 deluxe double rooms booked. So far so good. On arrival it looked like they didnt know we where coming. I need to mention, we were the only 3 guest in the whole resort. Check in was a bit bumpy, but we managed. After arrival we were asked for sinner, we only had to choices. Rice and curry, or chicken rice.....there are kayaks and a pedal boats available, but they will charge u 3500rs per person for half broken down kayaks even we it never mentioend anything sbout payment. So we didn't go. We took the pedal boat and were still charged. Nice birds around tho. We saw tucans and pelicans but still with no one around they still charged us upon check out. Food was ok, better go for rice and curry. 2500rs per person😜 Breakfast is chicken on toast eith pineapple, no sauce, no water, just 3, pieces of fruit. Chsrged 1500rs We had own own ssfari booked so can't say much about their service. Upon check out they try to charge 15usd for the single occupancy even tho i booked 2 double rooms. So overall i wouldnt recommend the place, mot sure why all reviews are rhst positve. Pool was murky, **** laying around everywhere and overall i found the olace 20usd cheaper as we paid, just one day before arrival.

We got caught in the rain on the evening of November 10. We found a hotel on the lake on the maps and came to have a look. The polite hotel staff explained everything in detail and showed us the room. A huge room with a luxurious bathroom practically under the open sky. A very large double bed, a terrace and a delicious breakfast. We were happy. We recommend it to everyone!

We arrived at the accommodation in the evening. The first thing we noticed was that the pool was very dirty from the outside. Everything else, including the accommodation, unfortunately didn't really match the pictures on the website. The floor of the room wasn't really clean either. Very little water came out of the shower. FYI: There were bugs everywhere in the room that were coming through the leaks. Rain came in from the bathroom. The facility should perhaps be properly repaired. But the worst thing was that there were yellow stains on the bed and what appeared to be small animal droppings behind the pillow. In bed we also noticed that there were ants everywhere. We didn't even spend a night here and checked out at night. Sorry, but that's really unreasonable. The facility only has 3 stars, but you can pay attention to certain standards. Conclusion: If you want jungle in your room, you can book here, but I STRONGLY advise everyone else not to do so!!!!!!

Mr Raj had helped with the booking and our requirements. Hasaranga is very helpful and very quick service this is the second time he helped us with wat we need. Looking forward for the next visit end this year.

We came to SL in April 2024 for a short visit from NZ and visited Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, then stayed a night at Thuduwa Camp with another family. It was a wonderful experience for our families together at a peaceful, yet an attractive location. We booked two triple rooms, one a stand alone family unit and another one, converted to a quadruple. Rooms were simple, but a great specious design, bathrooms were great and clean too. I cannot go without saying how delicious the food was. We had fried rice, chicken devilled, vegetable chopsuey, onion & tomatoes salad and chili paste for dinner. We loved it, so delicious and kids kept eating. We were offered many options for breakfast, we stopped at string hoppers, red rice, fish curry, coconut sambol (the best I had in SL), dhaal curry, and potato & chili tempered (again the best I had in SL), we loved it so much and were exceptional. Special mention is needed for Iroshan and Hasaranga who looked after us so well, very professional and were so caring, thank you again boys.. Keep doing what you are doing!! Highly recommend for families.. All the very best...

Nice place, although a little far from the tourist sites. Really very peaceful (too much?), we were the only guests in the hotel (a priori it's recurring), a bit gloomy as a result... Superb room with beautiful terrace. Impeccable service, royal breakfast. Extra a little expensive (1 bottle of lion beer 1500 rp evening 2 times the price in town. Greenish pool when we came…

Beautiful hotel located in the middle of nature and not too far to start the safari, the rooms are large, the only downside is that the water from the shower drains towards the toilets, therefore it is better to use the toilets before taking a shower! breakfast is delicious and very varied, the servers are smiling and efficient.
