Constance Moofushi

My wife and I spent 10 nights at Moofushi in October to celebrate our honeymoon and we were absolutely blown away by the experience we had. From the moment you arrive at Male airport the experience begins. To start with, the Constance lounge at the seaplane terminal is the perfect place to relax after many hours of travelling before your seaplane flight. After arriving at the hotel and being greeted with a welcome drink and cold towel, we were shown around by the lovely Stella who made us feel so welcome right away. The whole island the beautiful. A picture postcard everywhere you look. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, they will do absolutely anything to help you. We stayed in a senior water villa which was amazing. Thank you too our housekeeper Najarey who did and excellent job keeping our room clean and our minibar fill throughout our stay. Although we tended to spend time in the day sunbathing on the beach you could easily spend all day on the beach balcony / deck. The food is amazing, we have stayed at all inclusive hotels before but we were super impressed by the quality of the food here. Although the main restaurant is a buffet restaurant there is a great variety of food and live stations and everything we had was delicious. The lunch food at the totem bar was also amazing. It was nice to eat at the totem bar and be served food from a menu occasionally rather than eating at the main buffet restaurant. We had 2 amazing evenings at the Alizee restaurant too while we were there. Again, the food was of amazing quality and tasted delicious and the service you get from the staff is outstanding. We aren't big drinkers, it was just the beer and cocktails for us but the choice of drinks was very good. Special shout out to our waiter for most nights Sinaz who was so friendly and lovely to chat to. He even brought us ice cream to the beach one day! All the staff are so hard working and you get the impression that they are all so happy to be working at Moofushi and love what they do. We spent a lot of time snorkeling and the blue tribe diver center are great at giving you lots of information. They will be able to answer any question you have about about anything; equipment, marine life, places to snorkel and trips / excursions. Special shoutout to Shootte for being my instructor for my first ever scuba dive! Elena, the marine biologist, is very informative and I would recommend any guests to be go her presentations about the marine life on this island. The house reef around the island is beautiful and there is an abundance and huge diversity of marine life which is incredible. My wife and I are so thankful to Manjoola and the whole team at Moofushi for making our stay so incredible. We hope that one day we will be able to return again. We would highly recommend for anybody looking to go to the Maldives.

We were in the Maldives for the first time and decided not least because of the good reviews for the Constance Moofushi. We could not have chosen a more beautiful department! We lived 10 nights in a senior water villa and my fears that I would get bored on such a small island have absolutely not occurred. Even when you arrive by seaplane and the staff greets you waving and you are personally addressed and led to the reception, where you can immediately exchange your shoes for flip-flops - wonderful! The staff (unfortunately I can hardly remember names) was great in all areas: whether reception, housekeeping, bar, restaurant - all are in a good mood and let you be more than welcome as a guest. When you get into the villa you are simply speechless... the sky, the sea, the view and the many fish that you can already admire from the terrace! The equipment is great, comfortable bed and plenty of space to feel good. But next time I'll ask for pads for the loungers on the terrace - then it will be even more comfortable😉. The food in the restaurants was very tasty and varied. Twice we were at the Alizee and enjoyed this special atmosphere very much. As wine lovers, we were more than enthusiastic about the offer, especially the all-inclusive wines, and the various sommeliers advised us well in case of their own doubts. And for the aperitif always like a champagne - excellent! Now to the feared boredom: the water has constantly invited you to swim and snorkel. Then the excursions for snorkeling ... super skilled and you always felt safe. A house tour with interesting facts and background information about the department, wine tastings, theme evenings, music with DJ and great evenings with nice people. No trace of boredom, just a lot of relaxation and beautiful days! We hope that we can visit this beautiful resort again and are already looking forward to seeing the very special people there !!

We had a wonderful time at Constance Moofushi! Stunning beaches, perfect weather, and a breathtaking water bungalow, a Senior Water Villa, made our stay truly special. The food was outstanding – super delicious with a great variety that changed every evening. For Halloween, the resort was decorated with incredible attention to detail, and the food was creatively and beautifully presented. The house reef was also absolutely beautiful, with an incredible variety of fish in all colors and sizes. The vibrant diversity of marine life, including numerous turtle sharks, made for a fantastic snorkeling experience. However, what made our experience even more special was the warm, attentive, and incredibly friendly staff. We felt like part of a family, where everyone genuinely cared about making our stay unforgettable – and they absolutely succeeded! We will definitely return and can highly recommend the resort. Moofushi is simply awesome in everything! We love you and can’t wait to return. Everything was superb and very definitely an all-around 5-star experience. We particularly enjoyed the informality, the freedom to chill out & wander around barefoot, along with the most amazing beach, sea, scenery, food, drinks, and service. No special shout-outs; everyone working there was amazing.

This was our third visit to Moofushi, our first visit was outstanding but unfortunately due to illness our second visit was not what we were hoping for. I will add that on that visit the staff were very concerned about us and arranged for us to see the doctor and were very attentive. On this visit it was clear that they absolutely wanted to do everything in their power to make sure that this time it would be an amazing experience. It is absolutely the staff that make this resort. They arranged several experiences to make us feel extra special and it definitely did that. The F&B manager Luthi, went above and beyond and is an absolute asset to Moofushi. He even provided us with food that was off the menu, he listened to everything we said and made sure that we ate very well! I can’t sing his praises enough. Rashim (usually Totem/Alizee restaurant manager) was another stand out member of staff for us this year. He is such a nice, caring genuine person, he always had time for us and he made special milkshakes for our children which should be a permanent addition to their drinks menu as these were definitely their favourites. Manjoola, the executive assistant manager, was new to us this year but is definitely a great addition to the island, she is extremely personable. There are so many members of staff here that truly make Moofushi special - too many to list. On our previous visits we stayed in the senior water villas, which we love but this year we decided to try the sand villas. I think we now prefer the sand villas as you get the best of both worlds. They are basically oceanfront beach villas, step down to powdery sand and a few steps straight in to the turquoise ocean - heaven. I would recommend the heart of house tour, the lagoon lunch, cinefushi and the sandbank magic trip. I would also highly recommend the Aperol Puki Puki cocktail which Luthi kindly provided me with the recipe so that I can recreate it at home. There are just too many things for me to say to sing the praises of Moofushi. It’s a beautiful island, that feels Maldivian, with outstanding staff. This is why they have so many repeat guests including ourselves. See you next year!

Absolutely amazing! Mandrea, what an incredible team you have. Full of passion and pride in all that they do! You should be proud of them all. Jakaa - you kept our room spotless, Shaa - you are always smiling and keen to talk, Sam - making sure we had the full food experience with the best table and Nithan who made sure we always had the best wine to drink (keep swirling!)
