What a fabulous hotel, certainly my favourite in Norway. All the rooms are named for an artist and our room had three original works by the named artist. There is art everywhere and the receptionist was kind enough to give as sheet (kunstoversikt) listing all the works in common areas. There are several works by Munch in the oponymous restaurant but it is best to view them in daylight. The location right on the fjord is splendid with great views from both the restaurant and the room where breakfast is served. Dinner in the Munch restaurant was excellent with great service.

Herskapelig og hyggelig
Hotellet er en koselig og smakfull perle.
Personal i resepsjonen var meget hyggelige og informative, dette gjør at du føler deg velkommen umiddelbart.
Rommet var smakfult innredet med fine malerier på veggene og en fin miks av moderne rent bad og herskapelig stil ellers.
Sengen var svært god, om jeg kan ønske en endring var det kun at sengene kunne festes fast sammen eller hel dobbel, kun et tips.
Frokosten ble servert i vinterhagen med fin utsikt til sjøen, her var det god mat og trivelig.
Den hyggelige damen som tok seg av servering/bordrydding spurte høflig om vi ville ha varm drikke og derpå serverte deilig varm sjokolade.
Må også nevne den herskapelige spisesalen Munch inne på hotellet som hedret den kjente maleren som tidligere bodde mye på hotellet.
Jeg gleder meg til å komme tilbake.

Flott hotell for bryllupsfest
Vi deltok i et bryllup på Refsnes Gods. Hagen og områdene ute ga en utrolig fin ramme for både vielse og fest. En del av hotellet bar preg av at det ikke er et moderne hotell, men det har sin sjarm med kunst på store deler av hotellet. Selve bygget er flott å se på, og man får følelse av å være på et eksklusivt sted.

Her stemmer det aller meste!
God mat både til frokost, lunch og middag. Meget hyggelig service ifbm. matservering. Behagelig tempo og stemning. Rommene bærer preg av å være litt gamle, men alt er rent og pent.
Det eneste vi reagerte på var en dobbeltseng på kun 140 cm. ellers var vi meget godt fornøyd med oppholdet.

Nydelig beliggenhet
Nydelig beliggenhet, forelsket oss i plassen! Fint rom, eneste var at vårt rom ikke hadde balkong, mens alle andre som vendte mot sjøen hadde det.
Gode senger. Gid frokost og hyggelig atmosfære.
