Very enjoyable stay. Large comfy bed, soft robes and slippers. The degustation dinner we had was fantastic, portion, quality and price. Only down side was the cold plates. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Onsite parking was convenient.

Nous avons passé un long weekend au château Les Merles avec ma famille et des amis pour y fêter mon anniversaire et nous nous félicitons de ce choix. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil, le service et la flexibilité du personnel ainsi que du manager, M. Beissel, qui étaient très professionnels et tout à fait à la hauteur du lieu. La préparation et l’organisation de la fête ont été facilitées par les efforts du management, qui a grandement contribué a son succès. La cuisine méritait réellement son qualificatif de gastronomique (ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas) pour des prix somme toute très raisonnables, compte tenu de la qualité des mets. Nous avons logé dans une villa pour 6, spacieuse et très bien équipée. Nous avions pu profiter de la piscine lors d’un séjour précédent et nous nous réservons le golf pour un séjour à venir. Ces impressions nous ont d’ailleurs été confirmées par tous mes amis présents ce weekend à l’hôtel.

Magnifique séjour dans ce château. Accueil remarquable, site magnifique , grandes chambres modernes, restauration raffinée. Bravo pour avoir, dans des murs anciens, créer un style sobre et moderne en conservant les éléments de l'époque tels que murs de pierre, cheminée, éviers, sols Rien à reprocher, tout était parfait. On y reviendra sans hésitation.

Je n'y ai jamais mis les pieds mais j'ai voulu réserver une prestation de 2 nuits tout compris pour la Saint Sylvestre 2024 (réveillon,brunch,etc) au tarif de 960€ pour 2 personnes. Au moment de payer j'ai vu les conditions d'annulation, en fait on ne peut pas annuler : l'argent est intégralement encaissé à la réservation et en aucun cas ne peut être remboursé. Ces gens sont très forts : aucun aléa possible en trois mois.

We stayed 2 nights and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. Breakfast was good with fresh eggs on offer on one day. Rooms are fine and a good size. Close to Bergerac for visiting and about an hour away for the chateaux which we visited. Staff were all very helpful and spoke good English.

A fabulous property. Beautiful old buildings but very contemporary interior. An extremely cool place to stay.
Staff very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.
Lovely stylish room, great contemporary shared spaces and fabulous bathroom.

We had a very comfortable stay in this lovely place outside of Bergerac. Our superior room was large, light and airy, as was the bathroom. It’s a peaceful place to be.
Although the hotel has a very good restaurant, we found nothing to eat.the breakfast was disappointing and not to the same standard. Some croissant and choice of breads/ cereals would improve things, as might eggs made to order.

Très bel accueil en suite pour la famille à l'occasion de deux anniversaires. La suite était très agréable, le service aux petits soins. Le restaurant a été très agréable et j'ai pu apprécier le geste de fin de repas avec une bougie pour les desserts de ma femme et de ma fille alors même que je n'avais pas rappelé ces événements lors de notre venue.
