Location was great. Right opposite the train station. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. The first room I was given had a really strong smoking smell, so they gave me another room right away. The view of the city from high floor was great! Could see the whole city and the mountains surrounding the city. Every morning my room could see the sun rise and get some indoor sun bathing in the winter. The breakfast had a healthy Chinese variety. Some western bread and muffins were offered as well. The only weird part for me was the fruits - the breakfast buffet had bananas and oranges cut into halves which I saw nobody taking. Overall, the stay was totally worth it.

I often come to Mudanjiang for business trips and always choose Hanting Hotel. However, I booked late and there was no vacancy, so I chose the Starway Hotel not far away. Unexpectedly, there were some small surprises. When I encountered a small problem when checking in, the staff handled it perfectly. I would like to give it a thumbs up. The first impression I felt when I checked into the room was that it was very clean, especially there were no water stains on the hand basin, the bathroom was separated from wet and dry areas, and the bed was moderately soft and hard and very comfortable to sleep on. The breakfast is also good, with 4 kinds of hot dishes, 3 kinds of cold dishes, pickles, some fruits, and Western-style breads, snacks, milk, soy milk, and sauerkraut stew, which are especially delicious. The key is that it is very cost-effective during the tourist season!

The front desk staff was friendly and attentive, check-in was prompt, and they also provided helpful travel advice. The room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning and bathroom amenities were all fully functional. The bathroom had plenty of hot water with consistent water pressure.
