Munich Magnificent left people speechless. I booked 2 rooms for 2 days on Ctrip for 9.3-9.5. The order clearly included breakfast. When I checked in, there was a girl with dark skin who looked like an Indian at the front desk. She told me that breakfast was not included. I showed my Ctrip order, so she called and asked me to send her the Ctrip confirmation email. After some operations, she told me I can do it. The whole process takes a long time. When I checked out on the 5th, it was the same girl who showed me the breakfast bill in Figure 1, totaling 558 euros. I said that the order included breakfast, so she said that there was a mistake in the breakfast fee for September 5th and she would not charge it. I continue to review the Munich Rosewood. The same dark-skinned girl assigned my friend and me a room on the 3rd floor and a room on the 2nd floor. When I asked her if we could be arranged together, she said it would take 3 hours to wait. It was already past 18:00 when we checked in, and it would take until 21:00 if we waited any longer. So we gave up. According to the hotel regulations, if we check in at 15:00, the room hygiene should be fine. If there is a room that can be adjusted, why do we need to wait until 21:00 to clean it? In addition, the sink in my friend's room leaked when we checked in that night. Such a new hotel, service and facilities give customers a very poor experience. We booked a two-bedroom suite for two nights. No one came to clean the whole day on the second day until we asked the front desk. The check-out time on the third day was 12 noon. We just went to have breakfast. Someone came to clean around 10 o'clock and took away our chargers, skin care products, etc. We found the manager to get some of our things back, but we still couldn't find the adapter. They started cleaning before we checked out. They are driving us away. Bad review!

The hotel is well decorated and our suite were perfectly desigend with everything a tourist or a business person may need and exceeded all our needs. The stuff was really nice and always ready to assist with professional manner. Best place in Munich

Room, hotel and staff are lovely. The fact that the hotel seemed completely booked meant waiting was longer than usual…. But that’s high season. We stayed for the Adel concert (sensational) and had a great time. Breakfast was extremely busy but the fresh pastries, cheeses, and eggs were all delicious. Although it was busy and there weren't quite enough staff, those who were there did an excellent job. They were attentive and managed everything smoothly. Overall, one of my new favorite places in Munich

By far the best luxury hotel in Munich. Bayerischer hotel which is near by has seen it best time, now correct but very tired, mandarin is rather good business hotel. Rosewood is well above. Perfectly located right in the heart of city, walking distance from the main station and main city landmarks. Absolutely stunning design with attention to detail. Good food across the restaurants, beautiful bar. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely will be my place to stay while visiting. They could slightly improve on the efficiency of orders and delivery at the restaurants and bar but i guess it will come with the time considering that it is bright new. Btw spa area is nice too.

Amazing hotel. The building is beautiful and located in a great area. You can get to the most popular parts of the city in a short time. The rooms are clean and new and the staff provided 5 star service. The jazz bar in the hotel has great music and bites. Highly recommend.

This is a fabulous hotel on all levels. Placed in a grand bank that has been refitted as a hotel, the Rosewood has brought real luxury to a city that has been missing it for a long time. It is extremely quiet. Service is attentive and focused on all the needs of guests. And by reserved German standards, it is also quite friendly. Rooms are very luxurious and come with spacious bathrooms. There is a lovely bar that, as seems to be common in Munich, does not open until 6.30. That was frustrating, as was the relatively slow breakfast service. The restaurant in which it is served, however, is excellent. It provided what turned out to be the best meal we had in Munich when we ate dinner there on our first night. Service in all bar and eating areas was of the highest standard and, again, was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Hotel has excellent location, very central and it's close to many city attractions. Building itself is magnificent ( former bank ) with nice decor/design, high quality materials. Restaurant is very good - we visited it for breakfast and dinner: atmosphere is nice, good and friendly service, interesting menu and good quality food. Highly recommended. On the other hand room upkeeping and general management were not the best. We had some issues in the room which could have been dealt better and faster. On Sunday - from early afternoon till 10pm there was a very loudly party in hotel patio - which made impossible to relax or sleep ( with closed windows ). I spoke to the manager and she totally understood my objections and complaints, I got an apology and compensation. I do believe all problems were due to new staff and lack of experience ( hotel opened last year ) - and devil is in the details. I hope they will improve soon.

While hotel has excellent location and it’s in a beautiful building with nice decor/design and has a very good restaurant ( we used it for breakfast and dinner ) - room up-keeping and general management are very poor. The bathrobe was not changed from the previous guests - I found tissue and lighter in the pockets - which I found disgusting, they have never replaced the bathrobe. TV set didn’t work, we had to call engineer twice to fix it. Chromecast not fixable either ( from Android or Apple ). We stayed for 4 days and tea/ coffee/ honey/ sugar were not refilled for 3 days in a row. It supposed to be complimentary but I had to buy my own. No shoe bag available - to give them shoes for polishing. On Sunday there was a party in the hotel patio (!) - from early afternoon until 10pm - with lots of people talking and laughing loudly and with extremely loud life music ( violin included ). It was impossible to have a rest not to mention sleep. I do believe when guests pay €1000/ night they deserve to have a comfortable, smooth stay. Location is not enough. AVOID by any chance. Go to Mandarin Oriental or Kempinski.

The location is spot on, very close to the shopping streets, but still on a quiet corner, so no cars driving through all the time. The service, attention to detail and extremely friendly, gentle and professional customer service across the whole property is what made this hotel special. From the front desk, to the breakfast staff and pool ladies, everyone was more than helpful and willing to do anything to make my life more pleasant. I especially enjoyed the friendly, attentive and professional service at the breakfast, they rememberedy name, room number and my orders very quickly, making me feel special and more than a random guest. The breakfast was truly 10/10. Very often a breakfast has a limit what is included to the room rate from the made-to-order list, but not here! You can order every single dish from the list if you wosh with no extra charge! (Btw you will not be able to, as there are like 30 dishes available + the small buffet). The pool is very calming, pleasure to the eye and very luxurious. The warm sunbeds were my very favorites! The bed was very very comfy, with the nice down topper making it very soft. Pillows are quite hard and high, and I did not find a pillow menu to fix the issue. The only other issue we had was with the turndown service. We specifically asked it to be timed between 6-7 after the first night, but it really did not work out for some reason. The next 2 nights they came after 9 pm when we already were back in the room showering. Then they missed us completely one evening, and finally then they did hit the right time. Also make sure to check your invoices, we had booked a rate that included the breakfast, but in the invoice they still had the breakfasts added for each morning. I asked them to fix it but still had one breakfast slipped into the bill even after noting them. All in all this experience made me a fan of Rosewood hotels, this being my first stay with them. I would consider them to be very much on par with Mandarin Orientals, St Regis and way above Park Hyatts, Waldorfs and Ritz Carltons.
