Avete presente quando arrivi in hotel stanco morto dopo 4 ore di moto e ti accoglie un receptionist, per carità per niente antipatico o lunatico, ma di quelli che una parola in meno è meglio di una in più, piatto, e poi entri in stanza (è una dimora storica) e la trovi piuttosto pesante, e il parquet ansima ( giuro ansima sul serio, e il letto è scomodo e pende, e ti alzi col mal di schiena, e scendi a fare colazione e ti accoglie un signore gentilissimo che in una lingua che non è la sua ma neanche la tua ti mette subito di buonumore! Ecco, ci vuole poco . Ps: doccia spettacolare, ottima la colazione

Great location. Helpful staff. Our room need some general renovation. Not horrible, but the bathroom was especially dated and the fixtures were not in great repair. We got good value for our money, but the property needs to spend some money if they want to keep charging what they charge.

The owner/manager and his staff were lovely and very helpful. They make a lot of their own foods for the breakfast which are really delicious (home made jams, spinach pies etc).
The hotel is old but very clean and comfortable and everything worked perfectly.
The position is perfect for strolling around the town or the climb up to the fortress.
