Anthony, a trainee at the concierge, was super friendly and helpful. Super professionalism made my stay rewarding. The breakfast was very good but the room wifi was very weak and cannot be connected. Location is great and restaurant Kilimanjaro, riverside shuttle station are within walking distance.

The hotel is opened by the Chinese, the room is large, the bed is large, and the standard room in Africa has been living for so long. The standard double bed of this hotel is the largest.

I stayed at the hotel for 1.5 days. It is truly exceptional - the staff, the service, the food, the rooms. The staff is very attentive and pays great attention to guests' needs. They seem very well trained. I recommend a visit to the Spa. The hotel restaurant is also very good. The rooms are spacious and very clean. If you look in detail, the hotel is starting to show that it has been around for ~5 years and more maintenance might be needed. Don't get me wrong: it is still very good, but at this price point, the very last bit of refinement might need a critical look (dents in places, superficially patched cracks etc.). Overall, this is probably one of the best hotel in Nairobi and I highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay. The rooms were luxurious with spacious beds, and the views were quite nice. The heated pool was a great bonus. Brian was exceptionally helpful at the gym, pool and sauna—he made sure we always had towels and prepared the sauna promptly. Anthony and Paula at reception were also very friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The location is very convenient, being close to town and Westlands, which made it easy to get around. Would definitely stay here again.

This review is a little late, but I still have to praise the Nairobi Marriott Hotel! ! ! Because the JW Hotel in Nairobi made me fall in love with this city! ! ! This review is not exaggerated. As a person who stays in a hotel 200 days a year, I still have a little experience in staying in a hotel. First of all, I have traveled to most of Africa and stepped on countless pitfalls. The overall accommodation experience in Africa is indeed a bit sour 😜. JW is definitely cost-effective in Africa! Although Africa is not short of old luxury hotels (the prices are also eye-popping 🤐). But JW can definitely be called a new star in high-end hotels in Africa. The hotel building is a Gemini glass curtain wall with a modern architectural style. It is also a new landmark in Nairobi now (and we can proudly say that this hotel was built by our Chinese company)! ! ! 😁😁😁 The decoration and hardware maintain JW's consistent high standards and high taste, while also incorporating African style. The gifts with African characteristics in the handicraft sales area are also sold at a conscience price. It is said that they are carefully selected by big names in various African countries, and the price is very affordable. If you want to buy handicrafts and gifts, it is recommended to choose from JW first. I really feel that I am wasting time after visiting N legendary handicraft markets and flea markets. They are completely incomparable to JW. The most important thing is that the goods are genuine and you don’t have to worry about buying expensive or fake goods! ! ! (I always suspect that JW is worried that its guests will be cheated, so it specially helps guests to screen so many good things in advance), because the price is really touching, and I thought I heard it wrong several times, because it is cheaper than the market! ! ! The breakfast is very international and can basically meet the different tastes of guests from all over the world. It is recommended to go early, because there are really too many types, and you can’t taste them in a short time... 😅😅😅. There are several specialty restaurants from different countries for dinner, American steakhouse, Asian fusion cuisine, the dishes are excellent, and the decoration design is also very innovative! I really love the spa and the traditional Kenyan tendon massage opposite the hotel. I still can't leave after three consecutive massages... I strongly recommend to experience it. It's a rare relaxation during the journey. After the massage, you can definitely be fully revived! ! ! The Golden Key helped us customize the perfect travel route. We could have gone to Masai Mara to chase the Big Five of Africa and gallop across the vast African savannah... (childhood dream) Unfortunately, we caught up with the once-in-a-century flood in Kenya, so we didn't get on JW's handsome mecha tank 😂😂😂. Because the hotel has just opened, the linens are all new and the mattresses are very comfortable. The coffee downstairs is Kenyan coffee. After drinking it, I feel that the so-called Kenyan coffee I drank before is all made of beans? It is full of floral and fruity aroma, and it doesn't taste like coffee. Desserts must be eaten! ! ! Exquisite and delicious! Finally, a big surprise: Jacky, the manager of this hotel, is Chinese! ! ! Check in or need any assistance, just find Jacky!!! Don't be shy to find him, Jacky is so reliable and professional!!! He has super professional knowledge of hotels, there is no question that can be asked, and he actually knows all the well-known companies and brands in all industries!!! It is common sense that Marriott's hotel training system is well done, but the knowledge capacity of senior management is too terrible!!! It feels very good. The hotel has Chinese food. The hotel staff and hotel managers are very friendly and attentive. There are shopping malls near the hotel, a few minutes’ drive away, and shopping is also convenient. After staying there for a week, the hotel can rent a car and it is safe to go out. There, I ran out of money, the hotel manager was a Chinese, and he also helped to accept the domestic WeChat exchange of RMB for US dollars. It was almost a sense of seeing a fellow countryman. Very grateful for the hotel's help, very humane. Will stay there next time I go.

I stayed in this hotel for 10 nights on 07 March 2024. The room were very clean I even left a tip for the room cleaner for the first time in my life. Really, Everything was lovely, breakfast, food on rooftop restaurant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definately I will be coming back. Happy customer, Kate😃

This was a quick stop. The hotel staff was friendly, and considerate to give us a wake up call without requesting for one. They were aware of the early morning flight as the checkout was done late night previous day. The bedding was comfortable, good AC but there was a weird smell in the washroom. Had a quick check at the indoor pool, which quite small. Overall good enough for a night stay between flights.

I spent 4 nights at the hotel for a business event. The staff were kind and very helpful. Grace who cleans on the second floor was particularly very helpful, she made sure my room was super clean and fully stocked. The gym at the rooftop is a bit small but very helpful. There is also a swimming pool and a minibar at the rooftop. The manager, Mr Dominic was also very kind and charming and welcomed us to breakfast cheerfully. There is a tall guy who works at the reception and he was very kind and helpful when checking in. Facilities are top notch and the check-in process is smooth. Room service is available 24/7 via the intercom phones. Security is also very tight. The food is extremely tasty and the menu changes every day. They have a lot of bacon during breakfast which is a solid 10/10. The only issue I faced was the non-labeling of bidet washrooms. The hotel should label bidet washrooms for guests who prefer bidets. Otherwise my stay was super awesome.
