The room was neat and comfortable, with good natural light and ventilation, and the bedding felt high-quality. It was very quiet at night. The front desk service was attentive, and check-in and check-out were both quick. It's conveniently located near dining and entertainment options, offering excellent value for money. Definitely worth staying again.

This hotel boasts a prime location right by the Qinhuai River, offering easy walking access to the Confucius Temple, the Imperial Examination Museum, and Laomendong. It's incredibly convenient for enjoying a night cruise on the Qinhuai River. The rooms are meticulously cleaned and tidy, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent – a rare find for a hotel right next to a bustling scenic area, allowing for a peaceful rest after a day of sightseeing. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, making the check-in process efficient. What's more, when I left something behind, customer service thoughtfully arranged for it to be mailed back to me, which was incredibly helpful. The hotel also offers laundry and drying facilities, which are very practical for long trips. It truly offers a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, balancing beautiful scenery with great convenience. The value for money is outstanding!

Thanks to its integration with the Shuiyou City complex, the dining environment and food variety are solid, with few misses, but it also has some clear shortcomings. Let's start with the pros. First, the variety is comprehensive, with a balanced mix of Chinese and Western options, not just simple buns and porridge. The Chinese section offers local Nanjing specialties like duck blood vermicelli soup, soup dumplings (xiaolongbao), and red bean dumplings (chìdòu yuánxiāo). You don't need to wake up early and search for old establishments outside; you can taste local flavors right at the hotel. The hot dishes area has stir-fries, steamed dim sum, and various grains, with a full range of steamed buns, siomai, and zongzi, suitable for seniors and children. The noodle station offers freshly cooked alkaline noodles with customizable soup bases and toppings. The collaboration with Songhe Tower ensures consistent quality, and a hot bowl of noodles in the morning is very filling. The Western area includes bread, toast, yogurt, fruits, cold cuts, freshly ground American coffee, and drinks like milk and juice – a sufficiently diverse selection. The dining environment is also worth mentioning. The breakfast area is on the fifth floor of the hotel, offering spaciousness and ample seating distance, so it doesn't get overly crowded or noisy even during peak hours. Window seats offer views of the street below. After breakfast, you can directly access the Shuiyou City mall, making it convenient for a post-meal stroll or grocery shopping. The cleaning staff are quick to clear tables, ensuring timely plate removal and preventing clutter. Now for the cons. Firstly, during peak hours, some dishes are refilled slowly. During the weekend breakfast rush (7-8 AM), popular items like soup dumplings and fried eggs often run out, requiring a wait for replenishment. The fruit selection is quite basic, with only common items like watermelon, oranges, and cantaloupe. While their freshness is acceptable, premium seasonal fruits are missing. Secondly, some hot dishes are a bit bland, and their heat retention is mediocre; near closing time, the food noticeably gets cold. Thirdly, there's a queue for fried eggs and made-to-order omelets. Staffing is limited, leading to longer wait times during peak periods. In terms of details, the self-service cutlery is clean and tidy, the self-service areas are clearly marked, and the food flow is well-designed. It's very family-friendly, offering special treats and small breads for children, along with mild porridges suitable for kids' palates. For guests whose room rates include breakfast, this standard fully justifies the price. At around 400+ RMB on non-holidays, being able to enjoy local specialties and a freshly cooked noodle station offers great value for money. However, when room rates increase during peak seasons, the breakfast quality doesn't improve accordingly, which makes the value seem slightly diminished. In summary, if you're visiting Fuzimiao and don't want the hassle of waking up early to find breakfast, this hotel's breakfast fully meets your needs. You can eat well and heartily, and taste Nanjing specialties all in one go, saving time and effort. Those with extremely picky tastes might find it ordinary, but as a standard buffet breakfast for a chain hotel, it's generally satisfactory and exceeds expectations, making it a significant plus for the hotel.

Maybe it's because it's a hotel in a scenic area, and there's a lot of foot traffic. It took me almost 20 minutes to check in at the front desk, even though I arrived around 5:30 PM. At that time, my room was still being cleaned and inspected. The front desk's response time was incredibly slow. The front desk management here is the worst I've experienced at any Atour hotel nationwide. And get this: the gym and laundry room are in the same space! There's only one treadmill, a full set of dumbbells, but the laundry room is stuffy, hot, and the AC doesn't work. Working out in there is pure torture. Unless you have a specific reason, I wouldn't recommend staying next to a scenic area; the experience is really bad.

In just a few minutes' walk, you can reach various snack shops and creative boutiques, and it’s incredibly convenient to get to Fuzimiao Temple and Qinhuai River, making sightseeing a breeze. The room itself was spacious, and the high ceilings of the old building prevented any feeling of being confined. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, and the toiletries were pleasant to use. The mini-bar, stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks, showcased their thoughtful attention to detail. The staff provided excellent, discreet service – not overly enthusiastic to the point of being intrusive, but always responsive to any requests and even offering helpful sightseeing tips. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it featured authentic Nanjing flavors, with local specialties like duck blood vermicelli soup and small wontons, all tasting incredibly genuine. The courtyard, with its lush greenery and water features, offered a wonderful atmosphere for a relaxing stroll or a quiet sit-down. Whether for a leisurely vacation or a short getaway, I highly recommend this hotel. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Nanjing.

The hotel was incredibly accommodating. I originally booked a room with one breakfast, but upon arrival, they upgraded my room and even gave me an extra breakfast free of charge, which was a really pleasant surprise and something you don't often find – I was very satisfied! The hotel is right on the edge of the scenic area, offering a quiet environment, yet it's right outside the entrance to the attractions. They also have a lovely little garden that's perfect for photos. Highly recommend!

Extremely satisfied, far, far, far exceeding expectations! Great location, quiet, clean, and you can take amazing photos right in the room and hotel itself! This was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at during my trip back to China! My foreign friend came to Nanjing to see me, and we wanted to stay near the Confucius Temple, but all the surrounding hotels were either expensive, run-down, or tiny. My friend actually found this hotel on Apple Maps. I'm not sure why it's not heavily advertised, but our stay far exceeded our expectations! The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the subway station, right next to Bailuzhou Park, and even has its own water features and small bridges. The staff member (Xiao Fang) was super enthusiastic helping us check in. The lobby was also beautiful and quiet, without that noisy, bustling feeling you get in chain hotels. Afterward, a butler helped us with our luggage to the room and even brought us fruit. Our room was in a separate building, requiring us to cross a small bridge. The view was just as good as the Confucius Temple, so we didn't even need to go brave the crowds there 😂 The room itself was even more surprising. Our suite had an espresso machine, free water and drinks in the mini-bar, a bathtub, and a cozy little corner for tea. Opening the window, we could see the river – absolutely beautiful. It was so hot that we basically spent a whole day lounging at the hotel. After braving the crowds at the Confucius Temple in the evening, we realized the hotel's Qin淮 River view was actually better. For anyone looking for great photo opportunities, you can snap amazing pictures right here at the hotel. The breakfast served in the morning was also good. My foreign friend really enjoyed it, especially the freshly made wontons and duck blood vermicelli – he was very satisfied. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely stay here again if I have the chance to return to Nanjing!

The hotel's night ambiance is truly divine, and looking back, the majestic Ming city wall stands silently, creating an overwhelming sense of history 🌙. I chose this place after extensive research, and I was completely captivated upon check-in. It definitely deserves a five-star rating! Right next door is the Old Gate East (Lao Mendong) pedestrian street, where you can leisurely explore a wealth of creative cultural products and authentic Jinling snacks, even trying the famous 'Ten Dynasties Shortbread' right in the district. After a day of sightseeing, there's no need for a long commute; just a few steps bring you back to the tranquil courtyard, a sanctuary from the bustling crowds outside. This convenient location, combined with a relaxed holiday vibe, contributed greatly to the joy of my Nanjing trip. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all fellow travelers heading to Nanjing.

The hotel is located within the Confucius Temple scenic area. Please note that there are traffic restrictions from 2 PM to 10 PM, making it difficult for taxis to enter and exit. Downstairs, there's a Freshippo (Hema Xiansheng), KFC, Miniso, and a couple of restaurants, which is quite convenient. The rooms facing the road can be a bit noisy, but it usually quiets down after 11 PM. During my stay, one of the elevators was out of service, leading to some crowding when going up and down. The room itself is very spacious with a well-designed wet and dry separation, and the staff are dedicated and responsible.
