The hotel itself was fine. However, I think how a business responds to adversity is important and the employees and manager, if there even was a manager on duty failed miserably in my mind. A fire alarm went off at 6:30 am. I don't blame the employees for that, but there was no communication with the guests afterward. Firemen came in and left in a few minutes when they realized it was a false alarm. We asked the firemen if it was okay to go back in and they said yes. No hotel employee said anything or was even around. The front desk clerk stayed at the desk and none of them evacuated the building, or at least they were nowhere to be seen. The elevators remained out of service for about an hour. When anyone asked an employee we were told in a few minutes. Many of the guests stayed downstairs for breakfast as to be expected. The good news is the breakfast room and adjacent lounge area are large enough to accommodate the rush. The bad news is kitchen staff did not replace the eggs or other items so they quickly ran out as did the coffee. I happened to check to see if the elevators were back up and a maintenance guy said I'm here now so I'll get them up in a few minutes. So, when other employees were saying ”soon” the guy with the keys wasn't even on site. I think the entire situation was handled poorly and the manager should be ashamed of themself. Other than that the hotel was clean and up to the standards I would expect from Marriot. Parking was $20, which I don't think is bad for Nashville. We ubered to Broadway Stree for less than $10 each way.

Downtown Nashville
My wife and I arrived around 4 but our king suite wasn’t ready but they let us leave our truck in the hotel check-in parking so my wife and I set out walking around the gulch area. We came back around 7:30 and checked in. The staff was very friendly the hotel lobby is very nice. We did ask the guy that checked us in if the roof top lounge served food and he said no it does not so my wife and I went out for supper then when we came back we went up to the roof top and found out they do serve food. We were disappointed because we would have eaten here and not went back out. The 2 girls working the roof top lounge were very friendly and good service, Our room is large and very nice also has a large walking shower, two tvs couch, safe, coffee maker and a work area. The room was clean and fresh. My only complaint would be I couldn’t find a plug-in on my side of the bed. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is good from the airport but no convenience stores nearby. Service was good, and the room was clean and comfortable.

I needed to edit my original booking for lesser days. The site would not allow for editing, yet there was an option to edit or cancel. When I went to make a new reservation, the rate was not the same but higher. Upon our arrival, the manager gladly gave us the original rate and gave us a complimentary gift bag of goodies (benefits of being a Marriot Bonvoy member!) She had also warned us that there was a very large crowd that would be in the breakfast area the next morning, but should be cleared by 8:30. She wasn't kidding. But everything went smoothly, the area was clean and there was still plenty of the delishous comp breakfast available. Comfortable beds, clean room, great service. Would stay again and would recommend
