My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and had the best time! We loved our room (just stayed in the most basic room available) and the grounds were outstanding. Can not stress enough how beautiful the entire place was. This was our first stay at a sandals or all inclusive. The staff was amazing, especially the entertainment crew. The food was decent and we especially liked the sushi and the lunch places (**** Shack, chicken dippers, and the taco place. We did not pay for anything extra, so I can't speak to that, but we heard from others that they were great! My only tiny complaint while we were there was that I wanted to SCUBA (i'm certified), but haven't been since 2019 so they asked me to do a refresher course. I absolutely think that was a good idea as safety is important, but it was going to be $150. I would have done it if it had been cheaper, but didn't end up going. I also got stung by a jellyfish off of the beach, not Sandal's fault, just as an FYI. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars: we had to reschedule our trip from June to November due to back to back medical emergencies for my husband and myself. My husband's caused him to not be able to fly and when we contacted sandals to try to figure something out, they were not very nice about it and required an official doctors note in order to waive the date transfer fee of $200 per person. They also did not honor the original price we paid, so because it was more expensive in November, we lost a night. We were a little disappointed about this not only because we'd been saving up for this for 2 years and had just dealt with legitimate medical emergencies, but also knowing that Sandals could probably afford the tiny loss on their end. Again, we had an amazing time at our location and the staff at southcoast was incredible.
