The location of the hotel is convenient for entry and exit. The front desk staff has a good attitude. The hotel environment is good and breakfast is included. Coffee is available 24 hours a day on the first floor. The room is not large and the sound insulation is average. In the middle of the night, the sound of water and sounds outside the corridor can be heard.

Consistently good standard, rich breakfast, convenient transportation, quiet and comfortable room without interruption. The hotel staff is warm and polite, and can check in early after discussion.

Had a brilliant experience here. For such an affordable stay the quality was excellent, the room was lovely, clean and cosy and the services offered were great - kitchen, lounge, computer/library area and laundry room. They also have activities like movie nights which is such a great bonus. The staff were extremely kind - especially Yari - who helped my friend and I when we missed our bus. We really felt taken care of. The location is also great and well connected with a subway station a few minutes away and it felt safe walking home at night. I couldn't believe we found this place and that it was as good as it seemed, especially for NYC! I would highly recommend staying here. The location of the hotel is in China town where Chinese restaurants, stores and grocery stores around it. Most of the customers were Chinese. It is close to the subway station, takes about 7 minutes to get there, but takes at least 30 minutes to get to Manhattan by train. We spent a lot of time on commute. If you want to visit Manhattan, I recommend staying in Manhattan. The highlight of the staying was breakfast which was perfect. However, I can’t believe that the hotel does not provide water, and we had to pay for water.

The room is small, the facilities are very simple, the hotel is very small, the facade is not easy to recognize, the front desk also collected a deposit of USD 150 when checking in, and said it would be returned and I would wait and see in two days. The location is good, just across the street from Times Square and Broadway, and not far from Central Park and other attractions.

The West Side YMCA is definitely a no frills place to stay, but the location is excellent. You're right next to Central Park and Columbus Circle. Times Square is an easy walk south. We stayed in 2 different rooms. The first had a bunk bed and was quite small, but the bed was comfy and the room was clean. It also had a small TV and fridge. We had a semi-private bathroom, which was down the hall. This meant we had to scan our key on one of the bathroom doors to get in, but once inside we had privacy while we got cleaned up. The bathrooms were kept clean and tidy. We were able to upgrade the second half of our stay to a room with a larger bed and an in room bathroom. Again, this hotel is no frills. It can be rough around the edges, but it's clean and comfortable at the end of a long day of sightseeing. We did not have time to take advantage of the gym, the pool, the sauna, and stuff like that, but they looked nice. I'd recommend the West Side YMCA. If you're visiting NYC, you should be out doing stuff, not sitting around the room. It was everything we needed it to be.

The location is relatively close to the airport. The breakfast restaurant has a nice view of the airport and Manhattan. The breakfast quality is also good. The air conditioner in the room is very noisy. The service is very average. I ordered a sofa bed, but no bedding was prepared. I asked the waiter to deliver it, but only a quilt core, a bed sheet, and a pillow were delivered. I asked for a quilt cover or an extra bed sheet to cover the quilt, and a fitted sheet was delivered. 😓😓

The cleanliness of the shared facilities extended to the toilets, which were consistently well-maintained and stocked with amenities. This attention to hygiene contributed significantly to a positive overall experience. Despite booking a bed in a 12-bed room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the daily cleaning routine carried out by the diligent hostel staff. Adding to the positive experience, the Hi New York hostel's location proved to be exceptionally convenient for exploring major destinations. The hostel's close proximity to a subway station, just a 2-minute walk away, made traveling around the city a breeze. This accessibility enhanced the overall convenience of my stay, allowing me to easily reach and explore various attractions without any hassle. The strategic location near the subway station was undoubtedly a valuable asset for anyone looking to make the most of their time in the city. In essence, Hi New York hostel provided a comfortable and budget-friendly accommodation option with its friendly staff, convenient amenities, and well-maintained communal spaces. The hotel is about a 4-5 minute walk from the New York Line 4 subway station, and it takes 30 minutes to go to the Metropolitan Museum. The three of us booked a one-bedroom suite. The room is not small, and there is plenty of space to put suitcases. The bed is about 2 meters long. It can sleep three people without any problem. The bathroom is clean and tidy. There are not many breakfast varieties but they are basically delicious. Overall, this hotel is very cost-effective. I will choose to stay here again if I have the opportunity to come to New York again. of!
