No way, what can you expect from a hotel so close to Times Square? You just have to accept such facilities and services. The room is small and old, but the restaurant downstairs is good, and the key is the location, which puts you in the center of the world.

You book with Trip and when you get there, you are charged an extra $35 per day for service. Valet parking is only available until 12am. The included breakfast is a grab and go, if you want to sit down you have to pay extra. The room was tiny, barely enough room to walk around the bed.

The employees here at the Edison are not up to speed with customer service. I get better respect from the public on the street all the way from upper to lower Manhattan than I do from the people here that work at the Edison especially the front desk. They are so to react when you have a problem such as no batteries in the remote to changing the towels since we're staying more than one night. The rooms are a 12x12 room with a coin bed which pretty much is a joke and I will get better service, cleanliness and customer service at probably half the price at a place like the pods here in times square.
