The Headland Hotel and Spa

Paid £130 for myself and husband to use the aqua club dip and dine. The website says adults only. While we were in the relaxation pools there were small children splashing around us in armbands. Not exactly romantic or relaxing. Put us off doing it again. Shame as it's the first time we've been and we're local, the facilities are so nice as well.

Another wonderful stay over half term, weather was spectacular and we even saw the witch who was walking the floors, we wished we had dressed up ourselves as it was a magical halloween atmosphere, even Halloween themed cocktails. Room was spotless, food as good as last time and thanks to Ryan for looking after us at breakfast. We even had a treatment which was excellent and the girls in the Spa are a pleasure to deal with. See you very soon, we are planning our next trip already

Fabulous place to celebrate a special occasion for a few days. We stayed in a front row cottage for daughter’s 21st birthday. View was spectacular. Cottage was well equipped and very comfortable, but I’d say kitchen facilities are more suited to heating food up than cooking from scratch. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Aqua club and Spa both very nice spaces to relax after surfing/walking.

My friend and I had a tremendous evening at the hotel’s Aqua club with their ‘Dip and Dine’ package. The dip was great fun and very relaxing but the dine was excellent. Our waitress was extremely polite, efficient and professional. The service was 10/10 and the food was delicious. The only downside was that one of the outdoor pools was closed but overall it was a fabulous experience.

A beautiful hotel in an incredible position overlooking Fistral Beach. The staff were all incredibly helpful, friendly and hard working. They really make a difference at what is an amazing hotel. The views from the restaurant were spectacular and the food was great. The chefs deserve a special mention of praise as they also do a great job. We will definitely return in the not too distant future.

Had a fabulous stay at the Headland hotel it really is old world charm meets modern what makes it is the staff from the helpful reception staff to the staff in all 3 restaurants and the bar staff who prepared the best cocktails. All were attentive and made us feel welcome. The food is the best we have had anywhere regardless of which restaurant you eat in. The breakfast was amazing. The main hotel has retained many of the old features and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The terrace has a nice modern feel to it. Wherever you sit the views are amazing. The deck is a lovely addition to the hotel we were there outside of the school holidays and it was very quiet which was what we were looking for. Again the views are amazing from the outdoor pool area. The food at the deck was excellent as was the service - nothing better than sitting with a glass of wine watching the sea. The spa was lovely we got 2 treatments as part of the spa package thanks to Lauren for the best massage. We cannot recommend this hotel enough the rooms were clean and had plenty of amenities such as hot drinks, a coffee maker with coffee biscuits robes and flip flops. The hotel is in the best position for coastal walks and there are plenty of outdoor seating areas. The only thing missing for us was information about the Witches movie we were too early for the resident witch and witches afternoon tea but would liked to have seen some information or pictures showing where they filmed. We will definitely be back.
