The hotel is very well located at the end of the trendy shopping street where there are also many restaurants, close to Grote Markt, Waal quay, Kronenburger park. Our room was apparently being renovated because there was a penetrating paint smell and paint traces on the bathroom floor that had not yet been removed. Had to connect TV and reinstall.
Maybe details for some but should be fine.

Inchecken was erg raar. Kwam voor dichte deur en pas nadat ik nummer hotel had gebeld kwam er iemand open doen om in te checken. Daarnaast was airco stuk en werd deze niet gerepareerd. Verder op geen ontbijt na prima.

Prima hotel, bedden liggen prima! Eigenlijk niet echt veel op aan te merken. Niet bijzonder maar ook zeker niet slecht, voor een stap avondje kan je hier goed verblijven. Kan wel wat gehorig zijn, wij hoorden mensen in de kamer boven ons wel praten in de ochtend.

Prijs/kwaliteit is hier volledig misplaatst. Een kamer die duidelijk niet schoon was. Doucheputje verstopt en badkamer blank. Bij het uitchecken zat een oudere "volkse" man buiten een sjekkie te roken, hij nam mijn klachten over de badkamer voor kennisgeving aan en vroeg verder niet hoe het geweest was. Geen goede ervaring.

It all looks nice in the photos, but in reality it is very disappointing: the entrance to the hotel is beautiful and so is the room itself, but that's about it because there is minimal comfort in the facilities and it was cold and dusty. In addition, the towels did not smell fresh and there was no remote control to turn on the heater. Everything was super basic; not even a cupboard to store your clothes in and the soap was minimal. The staff was very nice and understood our complaints. This hotel is way too pricey for the quality it cannot deliver. As far as we are concerned it is a two star hotel, it is really nothing more than that.

Lovely building in one of the oldest streets in the city. Although check in was 'different' it worked really well and the gentleman who booked us in was very friendly. The public car park is a short walk away by the railway and you need to pay by cards. None of my UK Mastercard or Visa cards would work with the machines but my wife's Barclaycard did; no idea why but something to be aware of. You can get a ticket for the duration of your stay so no need to go back every 24 hours. There is no restaurant at the hotel but that is not a problem as there are dozens of cafes, bars and restaurants in the area, in fact we were spoiled for choice. The room was huge, as was the en suite and the bed was very comfy. The fridge was a bit noisy as was the air con but not enough to disturb our sleep although the local beers may have helped! Thoroughly recommended and will certainly be going back.
