come here from Tokyo with parents, the room is small with private bathroom and dusty it's ok for me just only one night but parents weren't impressed

First time staying in a dorm type but this place is good! The place is great for people who want to walk way up to their stay. It will take you at least 20 to 25 minutes. People are nice :)

It locate on the mountain. You have to walk up to mountain. (Not good for big lagguage traveller.) Great Lobby. Good service mind. But the way to drom room have bad smell. If not it will be perfect guesthouse.

Housing stay not comfortable. But the owner is kind. Not a standard hotel facility.

Nikko Park lodge mountain side is an excellent place to stay. For a very reasonable price we got a private room with a bath and toilet and comfortable single beds. The place is clean, the location is beautiful and delicious dinner and breakfast are served for an excellent price. The owners are very nice and helpful, they drove us to the train station which was very kind of them. A taxi from the train station costs 1000 yen. Highly recommend!

A very atmospheric homestay in the mountains, with many foreigners staying. There is a stove in the lobby on the first floor. The weather was over 10 degrees, and they also prepared electric blankets, which made the sleep very comfortable. The air outside was fresh and the surrounding scenery was also very good. I went out for a walk in the morning~

The hotel is located far from the station and I had to walk uphill in the heat with my luggage, I sent a request to the hotel to pick up my luggage twice, but never received the service, I got to the hotel, the owner took my passport, I filled out the paper, then they just told me check-in after 15.00, they didn’t offer to leave my luggage, sit down from the road, wait, for a second I’m already over 50 years old, not a girl, I stood near the entrance until I asked “can I leave my luggage before check-in, to which the owner waved his hand at me and that's all. When I arrived at the hotel after 15.00, the hostess appeared and again asked for a passport, I said that her husband had already registered me, no smile, no greeting, nothing, this is the attitude towards Russians, why such discrimination? I come to you, pay you money, not for a hostel, but for a normal room, just to sleep, and this is the attitude. After Tokyo, I was generally in shock, of course, I didn’t expect it, I came to spend my birthday in Nikko, I thought I’d stay in a family hotel, but here this attitude is a huge minus. I do not recommend this family business☹️😡

The outside environment of the hotel is very good, shaded by green trees. The hotel house is relatively old, and the interior is also relatively old. Hygiene: average Facilities: General good environment Service: good

The environment is very good~ Because when you check out on the top of the mountain, they will arrange a free car to take you to the station below the mountain~ It's a bit similar to Airbnb, and the owner's English is also very good~

It was the worst. It's not a typical hotel, it's moderate. ①I can't speak Japanese. ②Even though I made a reservation, We were left unattended for over an hour when we were told there were no reservations. ③ The shop that is the front desk will be empty around 8:30. ④ I had booked a room with breakfast, but I was told that breakfast would start at 8:00 AM, but no one at the front desk or staff showed up after 8:20. !"and In the end, I couldn't eat breakfast because I had a scheduled time. No apology call after that. ⑤The room is not directly connected to the front desk. The room does not have a room specification manual. ⑥ The shower curtain was black with mold, and the inside of the cupboard was dirty. It is better not to stay as if it were a hotel.

It was used at a competition, but there were almost no amenities, which was a shame. I walked from the station, but it took 25 minutes. The view from the window was beautiful.

Is there a problem with the ceiling lighting in the dormitory? (It seems that the ON/OFF switch with the string is broken and it may be necessary to make an effort to turn it off.)
