This awesome! The views are amazing and Carter and Steve are awesome! My wife totally approved! Wi-fi all Over the place, they also have an awesome breakfast! We will absolutely be back here again. Great access to the blue ridge parkway too!

This place has amazing surroundings and wonderful owners! The vibes were very “twin peaks-esque” with beautiful details like funny garden gnomes and quaint “swiss inspired” interior. We had a cup of coffee on the patio looking at the blue ridge mountains. What a view! Also, the breakfast was lovely. Can definitely recommend

If you’re looking for a unique experience, and beautiful views this is the place to stay. Carter was very friendly and hospitable from the moment we walked through the doors. He was always asking if we needed anything; always making the customers feel welcomed and comfortable. After a long day of sightseeing, it was so nice to be able to order dinner for the night, and breakfast for the next day. Steve is an awesome cook! The food was amazing and also reasonably priced. Definitely will stay again when we’re in the area.

What a quaint little gem! The setting is amazing - beautiful view of the mountains. The rooms are small but are well appointed with many nice touches and very comfortable beds. The balcony provides a wonderful view of the sunrise. And our hosts, Carter and Steve, are terrific - very friendly and helpful. And the fact that they offer breakfast and dinner menus was a bonus!

We had a great experience at this Inn. Very friendly and informative staff. The prices are very reasonable rooms are squeaky clean, spectacular views and the breakfast and dinner offerings are delicious, and very affordable. The Inn is old and has a lot of history in that area. The owners are very friendly and understand customer service. We were made to feel special during our stay

I came here two years ago and have been looking for a reason to come back. Yes, this building is old and the main building has some skewed angles. Yes, the walls are a little thin. That doesn't really bother me; the owners are renovating rooms, the older rooms are still really pleasant, especially with private balconies, and the main building is cozy. I enjoyed an amazing night sky, an incredible sunrise, and badly needed peace and quiet. Until breakfast. Unfortunately, I had to witness a very intense (one-sided) confrontation between the gentlemen operating the inn while eating breakfast a screen door away. I want to respect the latter gentleman and not repeat what I heard, but there were pretty intense threats of physical violence. I can selfishly say that this destroyed the well-being I was seeking by staying here, but honestly, I'm mostly hoping things didn't escalate after I left, as I booked it pretty quick. The man on the receiving end of this insisted things were fine, and I hope that's true. But I thought about it for most of my drive home. It seems like a lot of guests have had positive experiences with the staff. But it also sounds like I am not the only person has seen or heard something like this here. You should probably stay away.

We had a beautiful view from our room. We ate a good breakfast off the balcony of the office area. Very rustic but comfortable. There is no ac, but it was fine with the windows open and a fan. They are very friendly hosts and willing to answer our questionsand visit with us. We loved it.

I cannot say enough about Steve and Carter at the Alpine Inn! Food is amazing! Both Carter and Steve went above and beyond making my daughter feel like a Princess! Carter even went through her rock treasures with her! These are the types of memories that are never forgotten! We upgraded to room 2 and loved the view! The two of us will be back very soon!!!

The Alpine Inn is a gem. The rooms are small but well-stocked, clean and comfortable. Owners Carter and Steve are friendly and fun and we felt right at home. But the best part is the view - the mountains are your backyard. We enjoyed dinner on the balcony, sitting in the swing by the fire pit, and waking up to the Blue Ridge Mountains through our window. It was a real mountain experience and we loved it.
