Very Good
I've stayed here a couple of times when working in the area and I really love its location next to the Thames. It is on the Thames path and next Staff are always freindly and welcoming. Evening food was nice and definately above average and the cooked breakfast is really good.
Room was clean and well presented, just wished they offered better quality toilet roll in the room, a small gripe I know.

Friendly pub in a beautiful location
I have stayed here a few times over the past few years and this visit was as good as ever. Some of the rooms are a tad small but smartly presented and comfortable.
The staff here are all friendly and accommodating and the food is really good.
But the location, a short drive from Oxford, is excellent right next to the Thames and a picturesque bridge crossing the lazy river. The restaurant overlooks this view along with the beer garden, a perfect spot to drink or dine.
Also there are several lovely walks from this location either across fields to the north or either direction along the Thames path.
Overall, definitely recommenced.

Checked in , viewed room, absolutely awful!! broken loo seat smelling of urine ,filthy un hoovered carpet, suspicious grubby mark above wash basin , unprofessionaly made bed ,had 5 nights booked ,couldn't stay 5 mins,checked out!!

Nice location but disappointing breakfast
The room was comfortable, and the dinner pleasant pub food. Breakfast was disappointing; we had inadvertently booked room only and had to pay £11 each for a cooked breakfast which was lukewarm on arrival and not particularly good.

Sehr schön gelegen an der Themse, alles neu renoviert und sehr sauber. Bequeme Betten. Viel Personal aber etwas unkoordiniert. Die einen sehr bemüht, die anderen „less than volonteers“. Einerseits eine „fine dining area“ aber keine Möglichkeit am Tisch zu bestellen. Sowohl beim Frühstück als auch am Abend wird ständig um dich herumgeputzt das ist nicht sehr gemütlich. Mit dem Personal ist es halt nicht so einfach. Aber wir kommen sicher wieder.

Das gemütliche Landhotel Rose Revived war die perfekte Basis für unsere Ausflüge nach Oxford (super interessante Universitätsstadt und Harry Potter-Bezüge), Stratord-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare), Swindon (Eisenbahnmuseum) sowie aus den Spuren von "Downton Abbey" (Highclere Castle und Bompton). Es ist wirklich schön an einer alten Brücke über die Themse gelegen.
