The scenery of the hotel is absolutely perfect! When I ordered it, I didn’t expect it to be so beautiful when I saw the picture! The room size is average but the view is worth it! The butler also took us to visit the vegetable garden at the back. The ingredients in the hotel are all grown in this vegetable garden.

Wooden structure hotel, there are children running around in the corridor at night, noisy! The most unbearable thing is that someone in the upstairs room keeps moving the furniture

Fabulous hotel- The staff are wonderful, very helpful and always a smile. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, fresh and delicious with a good choice whatever your taste, the breakfast also offered a great choice. Our room was very comfortable and clean. All of this set in a wonderful location

Full of old world charm. Lovely staff couldn't do enough for us. We weren't entirely happy with our first room but within 15 mins we were relocated to a room we preferred. The catering was superb. Lovely fresh fruit and nicely made omelette. We appreciated the beautifully maintained gardens.

I had a very pleasant stay in twice. The staff (specially Ms.Gowry) are extremely accommodating and friendly. They were extremely helpful in all situations. The food was delicious, and the room was clean and well-equipped. Excellent place to stay and explore Nuwara Eliya.

This hotel is in a lovely position, our front room with balcony looked out over manicured gardens to the surrounding hills. All staff here, management, dining, bar and hotel are friendly and attentive , working hard make our stay excellent . The meals are an experience not to miss, they taste as good as they look, wonderful.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. Rooms are spacious, gardens beautiful, food generous and delicious and the staff incredibly friendly. We enjoyed the high tea in front of 1 of the many open fires! We would love to stay again

On arrival we were warmly welcomed. We were told we had been upgraded and the room was beautiful. A birthday cake had been arranged for me which was really thoughtful and kind. Unfortunately the toilet and shower room was covered in mould which did create a smell of damp. The sink had massive cracks in it. It is a real shame as it really detracted from a beautiful room. We were moved to a less grand but lovely garden room with a newly renovated bathroom the next morning. Lovely room but had constant buzz from electricity box. 😡 The staff are really lovely and friendly. The bar area with log fires are so inviting and really good cocktails. The breakfast is good but could be improved, cannot comment on the evening meals as never ate at hotel. The gardens are really spectacular. The hotel has so much to offer and it could be really good with some renovation which I know they are currently undertaking. Disappointingly I’m not sure I would stay here again.
