This hotel has all you could want for a November escape break: log burners, huge comfy sofas, tea and scones … The staff are just great and plenty of them. Big comfortable beds, soft linens and obviously new en suite with a great shower. The location is perfect for exploring Oban and the islands of Seil, Easdale and Luingvand the hotel looks out onto Loch Feochan. Our only disappointment was the dinner menu. It never changed, no specials and whilst there was Orkney cod and local mussels in the menu we would have expected to see crab, langoustines or even lobster. Whilst the food was delicious I would imagine after a few days it would be boring seeing the same all the time. However there are excellent restaurants nearby for local seafood. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Absolutely fantastic time at this beautiful hotel. Large parts of it have been recently renovated and thoughtfully restored. The staff are so lovely (without exception), the food stunning, the bedrooms and public areas are so well thought out and comfortable. Even with a large party dining and staying had no impact on the rest of us. The bar had over 100 whiskies and a great choice of wines and beers. The area the hotel sits in overlooking Loch Feochan is just gorgeous. There are walks nearby, but just walking down to the water was a joy. We also made use of the gorgeous hot tub which set us up for the evening. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, offering juices, cereals, breads, fruit, yogurt, meats and cheeses. The cooked breakfasts were exceptional. We could not rate it highly enough. Thanks all. Will definitely return and recommend.

We stayed as a group of friends and had our dog with us. When we entered we were amazed by the charme, atmosphere and arrangement. The staff was absolutely lovely, the food of the restaurant was delicious and we were very happy and satisfied with our stay. Hope we get the chance to stay at Knipoch House again someday.

We loved this hotel! The surrounding was magical and comforting with the warmness. They welcomed us nicely with smile and showed us our room personally. Room was very clean, comfortable with the heated floor, bedding extremely soft and huge beds. They had multiple different night programs including live music. Breakfast was very generous with variety of local food which we loved. What we missed was a walking path or hiking trail around the property in time we didn't want to use our car just go for a walk, there was not place to go.

We loved our stay at Knipoch House Hotel and would definitely recommend!! The house was beautifully decorated and the rooms were modern and very comfortable. We found the staff very friendly, especially Joseph - he made our day! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

First impressions on arrival were excellent. Reception staff very attentive and friendly. Decor of Hotel very tasteful. Top quality food as well. My only issue was squeaking joists in room ceiling(room 5) which seemed to squeak at the slightest movement from upstairs. This caused an extra early rise however the overall experience was excellent.

A wonderful one-night stay. All the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. Our room and ensuite, and the shared dining and lounge areas, were clean, extremely comfortable, and absolutely beautifully decorated. The experience, views, and highland loch-side setting have left us with beautiful memories of the west coast of Scotland.
