The hotel is somewhat faceless, but comfortable. But the lounge area is locked up and inaccessible at night and if you wake up earlier than 7:30, there is nowhere to go outside your room other than the stairwell. In our group of 12, there were several men who woke up early and wanted their wives to be able to sleep in. We had no option but to wander around the streets where there was nothing open or stay inside in the stairwell. Odd.

It’s always nice to have free parking available in a busy location. The place was clean and great location with Oban. We did have to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs to the top floor. Unsure if there are options for those with less mobility. A nice breakfast buffet was offered in the morning. We were there for one night so it suited our needs perfectly!

it's a shame the hotel currently doesn't offer evening meals, as after a long journey the last thing we felt like was trying to find some where to have an evening meal. the hotel was very clean, comfortable & staff were friendly & helpful. the bathroom in the room we were in was small & compacted but functional, with the advantage of a large shower. the bar was always empty so didn't feel like being the only 2 in the bar so we didn't have any drinks, we didn't have breakfast it looked & smelt lovely. Feel it would have been a different experience if evening meal were being served. its a great location, saying this if in the area would use again

Nice attempt to revive old rooms, great bathroom upgrades and clean and comfortable overall. The public areas and walls in the rooms are desperate for a coat of paint. The staff were transactional on check in and hard to find on check out, just left the keys after waiting 20 mins. Good location, easy parking and would stay again.

Small hotel with bar/restaurant on the street level. Comfortable bed. I don't think I'd want a room on the street side. It could be noisy. Excellent location on the main street in Oban. Convenient parking in the back of the hotel.

Front desk went out of there way to make sure we had a room to stay in without us being able to communicate with them for a late check-in. We arrived at 11:45pm. Fortunately they had emailed us info on the room and location of key for it. We had a great sleep.

Très bon emplacement, très propre, jolie déco et chambres modernes pour les standards écossais. Le personnel est adorable et très accueillant. Bon petit déjeuner. Séjour très agréable. Pas d’ascenseur, un peu difficile si on est eu deuxième étage, mais Kevin a été très courageux et nous a monté les valises dans la chambre. Merci! Les lits écossais sont un peu mous, même si la literie est récente (c’est culturel, nous n’avons pratiquement jamais eu des matelas fermes)
