It wasn't terribly dirty, but the facility itself was so old that the toilet was worn out and stuff. It's definitely not a 4-star hotel, it seems more like a 2-star hotel. There was no soundproofing at all, and you could tell how many people were walking in the hallway. The door itself was just a wooden door like an old house door. The bathroom smelled like a sewer and then disappeared. It seems like it needs a lot of maintenance. The staff was friendly! The location was also good because it was right at the main entrance to Obidos. The city itself is small, so I don't think I'll go back, but I definitely won't go to this hotel.

The hotel is old, but clean and the desk staff is very friendly.
It would have taken 2 hours to take the train from Óbidos to Lisbon, but they told me that there was only one bus.
Oh my goodness, there was a bus stop 1 minute away from the hotel.
Google directions don't tell me this.
Anyway, I almost went to Lisbon after calling an Uber and taking 2 hours, but I took the bus in front of the hotel and went to Lisbon in 1 hour.

On 8 January 2025 the hotel cancelled my booking for early February because the hotel would be closed for lift repairs. A refund of my pre-payment was promised. I chased the refund and was told that reimbursements would not start being paid until the hotel re-opened on 13 February 2025, so more than five weeks after the date of cancellation. I complained about the delay and eventually received my refund on 6 February, still almost a month after the cancellation date. While the specific circumstances are unlikely to reoccur, travellers will wish to consider what this delay tells them about the hotel's attitudes to clients.

Os quartos são humidos e frios, é visível a humidade nas paredes e sente-se o cheiro da humidade no ar. O ar condicionado é muito, muito antigo, e só faz frio (confirmado com a recepção do Hotel), que respondeu que existe um radiador como alternativa por detrás do cortinado. A casa de banho ainda mais humidade tem, e completamente ultrapassada em tudo, parece que estamos numa residencial de baixa qualidade. O Bar/sala é completamente desagradável. A única coisa boa é o pequeno almoço e o espaço do pequeno almoço. De sabado para domingo, o cheiro da da cozinha vem pelos corredores até aos quartos.
