Booked this holiday 2 years ago. Beautiful views, very clean and staff are very helpful and can't do enough for you. Omar the manager is a real gem, mingles with guests, knows their names and was even taking lollies to guests on the beach yesterday! You don't get many managers like that. Our butlers were great especially Richard he always seemed to know where we was ad always surprised us with iced coffees and food. That's the good points, now the not so good. Avoid shopping trip this is pre arranged at certain shops, we was heavily pressured into buying items and I don't like that. They said rum could be carried on plae it couldn't husband had to put it I his rucksack and it had to be checked in. When we got to Gatwick 1 of 3 bottles were broke. Our cases had been tampered with Jamaica end, husbands luggage strap had disappeared and the front of my case had been opened. Very limited food, ended up eating sae things on restaurants, they had a jamican night which was very good. Went to Ochi but very noisey. Pool tiny and certain guests go down very early ad get all the best ones but nothing is done about it, this group are known as the VIP's as they go all the time, how dull going to the same place.

Our trips seem to get better each time.A lot of the staff remember us by name and will give us a hug or hand shake and say "welcome home". It was great meeting the new GM Omar for the first time. It seems like he is everywhere on the property and greets us by name. I don't know how he can remember everybody's name! Our room butlers, Orayne and Safiya were fantastic and took care of every whim we had. The food was excellent, and if it wasn't on the menu somehow they would get it for you. The beach butlers were excellent as always. We went to sandals Dunn's River for one evening and really enjoyed dinner at the Banyu restaurant as well as the entertainment afterwards. I would highly recommend at least one visit to Dunn's River. The Beach Butlers were great as always. The only minor disappointment we had was the TV reception in the room. A lot of the channels were fuzzy and the channel listing was not up to date. It isn't that you are in your room a lot!

Our 5th trip to this amazing secret gem of Sandals was so great, I’m compelled to share with others. We took this trip with my daughter and her husband for their anniversary, the first time to this resort for them. We were met upon arrival by several managers welcoming us to the resort. A very nice touch and start to our vacation. The new GM Omar (replacing a beloved Arnold who retired) was extremely personable and was always out and about making sure everyone was enjoying their day. His leadership style can be seen influencing all the staff. We’ve always enjoyed the great service, but somehow, it was even a notch better this trip. Our exceptional butler Gladstone was off the chart this trip, helping to coordinate with my daughter’s butler for a few special moments…like a private anniversary luncheon in a pavilion that I didn’t even know existed. The occupancy was low (summer heat) so I asked Gladstone if I could see some higher-level rooms to possibly upgrade when we receive our free week in a few months. He coordinated with Lashaun and within 10 mins we looked at 3 very nice suites. While looking at the 2nd suite, Lashaun informed Gladstone that we were upgraded immediately to the 1st suite we saw. This was a huge surprise and the first time we’d been upgraded. A big thank you to Lashaun for making this happen. We decided then that our free week would be back to this wonderful resort, because the service and people are second to none. Played several rounds of golf and unfortunately my regular caddy Fabian was unavailable this trip. However, Wesley caddied for me in Fabian’s place and was exceptional. The second round he knew exactly what club I would hit next. Huge points to Wesly for making it an enjoyable experience. I’d also like to give a shout out to the caddy master for his professionalism and outgoing personality. Atryu Lewis always made sure cart and caddy was ready when I walked out of the pro shop. The East Wing rooms received a very nice refresh with newly painted and appointed rooms. New chairs and tables helped to ensure the warm Jamaican feel of the Mahogany bed. Also, there’s a new conversation/firepit area that looks amazing…a great addition to this resort. The entertainment…which has been lacking in the best….was excellent this trip with several talented singers. Again, a special thanks to all the staff that makes this such an amazing hidden gem.

This property is so beautiful and relaxing. We loved our butlers, Richard and Dewayne.. they truly were the best! The servers on the beach, all of them were the best!!! We loved the fact that we could visit the nearby Sandals resorts for a different vibe, but come back to Plantation to relax on the beach. We are returning soon!

It's really hard for me to write this review concerning Sandals Royal Plantation. The reason it's so hard is I don't want millions of people to fall in Love with this Gem of a resort, making it harder to get a booking. From the second you arrive to the second you leave the pampering you receive can't be measured. The first P is the people. Omar Robinson is the definition of hospitality and customer service along with being a mentor and leader to his staff. Every day he is everywhere! If you can't find him stay still for about 5 minutes and he will appear out of nowhere. He knows every guest's name, what they like and gets to know you as a person. You're not just a guest to him, you are part of his family. He truly has a caring heart and enjoys what he does. And the staff, from the restaurant staff to the watersports staff, the guest services staff, the spa staff and of course the Butler Staff. Adrian aka Biggs and Quicky Rickey are phenomenal individuals and make a great team. And then Sheryl and Gladstone are a pair of butlers that you also will never go wrong with. The interaction that the staff has with the guests just makes everything the best. And the entertainment staff of Brandon and Alex will keep you going non-stop. And talk about talent they have it! Now at the Wobbly Peacock, Junior is the best. Hands Down! Now the second P, Property. It's the definition of heaven on earth, the Caribbean feel and vibe is truly flowing at his resort. It has the Caribbean charm that brings you back time and time again. The groundskeepers maintain and make sure that it is Pristine at all times. The beauty is exemplary! Now the third P, Paradise (got you Omar!) this property is Paradise, its just that simple, PARADISE! Counting the days until I am back again. One Love!

Sandals Royal Plantation is a wonderful gem. Very peaceful and relaxing resort. Well managed with a great staff of friendly and professional employees. The food was excellent and abundant. The resort is just beautiful and immaculate. The beach is pure white sand with plenty of lounge chairs and beach butlers to serve you all day. There is also a really nice pool and hot tub. I can't wait to go back.

This Sandals resort is our absolute favorite! I hate to even share that with too many people because I'd rather keep it as my own little secret. The staff and excellent service are two of the biggest reasons why we keep returning. We've been vacationing here for close to 10 years, and many of the staff have been there for that entire time. We always feel as though we're coming back to visit family with each visit. The resort has such a unique charm and warmth to it. We love the smaller boutique size of the resort. We've visited other Sandals and, though we've always enjoyed them as well, they don't have the same charm and personable staff that SRP offers. From housekeeping to the waitstaff at the restaurants to the beach butlers --- everyone seems to know our names. Even the GM makes a point to know guests by name. Though the resort is a little further from the airport than some of the other resorts, we don't mind the drive through Jamaica. It's definitely our happy place.

We stayed for ten nights in May and returning again next year. Loved the location, service, friendliness of staff and the smaller hotel Food was good, not perfect but quality overall good. Papillon was our favourite restaurant. Visited Dunns Falls, loved the rum bar and Greek restaurant. Nice hotel but too modern over there. I love the charm and personal service at SRP. One of the best holidays we’ve had.

We recently returned from a 9 day stay at SRP. Great service from all staff members, as usual, especially our butlers, Carlos and Tamara, beach butlers Daniello, Trevardo and Romaine, lifeguard Wayne, the wait staff, Stephanie, Sherika, Tatiana, Vanya, Giovani and others whose names I have missed. Kudos to Bartender Delano and Tresell, Diana at the Spa, Eshina from housekeeping and we cannot forget the very helpful Lorna in the gift shop, and Jessica at the Loyalty Desk. Omar and his management team are dedicated to making sure that guests are their #1 priority. Along with Lancelot and Marvin, all were on the property all the time interacting with guests. That’s what makes this resort unique! The food, as usual, was delicious especially at the French restaurant where Joseph and Shevon provided excellent service all evening. Loved the food at the Royal Grill and the returning guest dinner was outstanding—-Surf and Turf. We very much enjoyed our made-to-order lunch requests which our Butlers delivered to us on the beach. Also a thank you to the servers who delivered coffee to our room each morning. One evening we went to Dunns River for drinks at the Rum Bar (very good)and dinner at Edessa. We will try another restaurant on our next visit since there are so many. Sorry if I forgot to mention someone but all were fantastic! The resort is lovely and there are so many opportunities to meet other guests. Cannot wait for our next visit!
