Wir waren bereits zum fünften Mal in diesem wunderschönen Design Hotel! In diesem alten Gefängnis zu übernachten ist ganz speziell ! Das Design, die Betten, der Geruch, aber ganz besonders das warmherzige, super engagierte Team macht den Aufenthalt immer wieder zu etwas ganz besonderem! Speziell möchten wir noch erwähnen dass das Hotel super Hundefreundlich ist und auch dieses Mal erwartete uns eine Hundedecke, ein Napf und eine Tüte Leckerlis 🥰 Auch bei diesem Aufenthalt haben wir in dem hauseigenen Hotelrestaurant Wasser & Brot gegessen und kamen in den Genuss die neue Karte ausprobieren zu dürfen und müssen sagen, dass wir sehr begeistert sind! Mit Start eines leckeren Sauerteig Brots und einer Mandelbutter, über ein wirklich hervorragendes Wallerfilet mit Risotto Und einer gegrillten Aubergine mit Cashewkernen und Hummus sind wir wie immer sehr zufrieden und glücklich ins Bett! Vielen Dank auch dieses Mal an das gesamte Liberty Team! 🙏

"Ein traumhaftes Hotel mit viel Liebe zum Detail – ideal für einen erholsamen Urlaub" Das Hotel hat definitiv eine Menge positiver Aspekte zu bieten. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön gestaltet, und man sieht die Liebe zum Detail in jedem Winkel. Mein Zimmer war riesig, und die gesamte Einrichtung strahlte eine luxuriöse, gemütliche Atmosphäre aus. Für Gäste, die länger bleiben und sich erholen möchten, ist dieses Hotel wirklich ideal. Ich war geschäftlich dort und hatte leider nicht viel Zeit, den Luxus voll auszukosten. Für eine kurze Übernachtung oder einen Arbeitsaufenthalt mag der gesamte Komfort etwas weniger zur Geltung kommen – trotzdem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt! Personal & Service: Besonders auffällig war das Personal: Es gibt hier wesentlich mehr Mitarbeiter als in Hotels vergleichbarer Größe, was sich positiv auf den Service auswirkt. Standort: Leider war die Zufahrt zum Hotel während meines Aufenthalts gesperrt, und auch die Anzahl der Parkplätze war etwas knapp. Das war jedoch nur eine kleine Einschränkung und beeinträchtigte das Erlebnis kaum – ein Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Frühstück: Das Frühstück war rustikal und sehr gut! Genau das Richtige, um gestärkt in den Tag zu starten. Fazit: Vielen Dank an den Gastgeber der Abopresse für diesen Aufenthalt! Dieses Hotel lädt wirklich zu einem längeren Urlaub ein. Ich komme gerne wieder und kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Ein sehr außergewöhnliches Hotel. Wir sind eigentlich nur wegen des Hotels nach Offenburg gereist, na schön als Dreingabe gab es eben noch den Schwarzwald zu erkunden. Das Essen ( Dreigängemenü) war ok, aber doch irgendwie "sparsam". Wahrscheinlich hätten wir doch gegrilltes vom Holzkohlengrill nehmen sollen.

The hotel design is incredible- I hadn't realised that the property had been a prison - unique and interesting and all decoration is to a high standard. Rooms are very comfortable. 1 downside- we arrived late after being delayed due to the most horrendous electrical storm and had called ahead to say we were going to be late and ask if the restaurant would still be open (or we would stop on the way). We were told that it would be open until 11. We eventually arrived at 10. We got food but the bar menu was essentially bruschetta or beef tartare. My colleague is gluten intolerant and asked if she could have a omelette but was told no. We asked for dessert at 10.50 and were told that the kitchen was closed. The staff were professional but there was no flexibility for very tired, hungry travellers who have to look to the hotel as a home from home when they are away. It was a bit of a shame. When you travel a lot what makes things easier and the difference from a good experience to a great experience is empathy.
