City Hotel in front of Okaya Station, Furekomi Street, 30 seconds from Okaya Station. There is a bus section for the Iida line due to heavy rain, and check-in after 10 o'clock at night. But as soon as you get off the station, you will see the signboard and you will not be lost. However, there is no convenience store in front of the station, and it is a little hard to shop. The hotel has a bicycle for that. The building is not new, but the room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was rich in variety and enjoyed the taste well.

It is not new, but it was a spacious room for the price, so it was relaxed enough. The front desk was polite. Convenience stores are also nearby.

Once you get to the rotary at Matsumoto Station, you can arrive within 2 minutes, and breakfast is available until 9:30, so if you arrive late, it will be empty and you can eat slowly and thoroughly. I made a business reservation on short notice, and it was cheap, so I'm a candidate to use it again. Also, by chance, they were holding a lottery to commemorate the company's founding, and even though they didn't win, they received a small bottle of local sake. I was lucky.

I have always liked this brand of hotel. I used to have the most rice. This time I made a special trip to stay at this high-end hotel. I really like his tatami. It feels very Japanese, clean and hygienic. I really like this style! The breakfast is delicious and rich. We purchased it separately. It costs 2,300 yen on site. This price is also very reasonable! The room is not bad, and the hot spring is also very good. I will continue to live here if I have a chance in the future!

This was a stopover hotel for our tour of Japan. It's well-located, walking distance to the railway station. The hotel carpark is small and we ended up in a garage about a 7-minute walk away. (10-minute if you have luggage.) We ended up in the executive floor. The rooms were all right in size. The major plus is the 14th floor executive lounge. We were there on New Year Day but ALL the restaurants that looked decent said they would only allow us in with reservations. We had not expected that. Fortunately, we had a good fill at the lounge, went to MacDonald's (across the road from the Railway Station) for a burger and then returned to the Lounge to top up with drinks. Although it was near the closing time for the lounge, still the staff topped up the food. Breakfast was pretty good. But the dining area is somewhat small. So we had to wait 10 minutes. They do have a picnic arrangement, which was pretty charming. Staff were friendly, things worked. Yes, I would recommend this.

Located less than 3 minutes away from the highway bus station exit, it is also very convenient to walk to Matsumoto Station. The hotel room is just the right size for one person, and the room is very clean. Although I requested a non-smoking room, I felt a bit smoky when I first entered the room. So I sprayed a lot of deodorizing fragrance spray on my own. The morning meals are delicious, and if you are in a hurry, the service of packing breakfast is also very good. I stayed in a room with an open-air bath. It was clean and the hot spring water was soft and made my skin smooth. We also visited the large bathroom downstairs, which was spacious and had nice spring water. Dinner was prepared in a separate private room. Again, this was a nice Japanese-style room with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was very tasty from the starters and I felt happy. And the staff were very helpful, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. She saw me off when I left, and at that point she pointed to the roof of the hotel and said, ”Look. I looked at the roof and saw a real heron perched on it. And when we got in the car and started driving away, the heron flew away too. That was the last service at the Saginoyu(Heron’s Bath).

Less than 5 minutes walk from JR station, my moderate twin room is very spacious and comes with a work desk. Beddings are very comfortable and plenty of amenities are provided. They even have complimentary supper service at night. We didn't get to try the breakfast but they look great with a lot of varieties. This is a great place to stay in Matsumoto.

We decided to stop in Suwa to break up a long drive back to Tokyo. Shinyu looked very good and the price was reasonable. The hotel is renovated and gives a nice modern spa hotel atmosphere. The greeting at the hotel is very nice and the lobby area is beautiful. We felt very welcomed when we arrived. Our room was facing the lake. It was Japanese style with tatami and futons. Nice room, nice view. The public bath was nice. Not huge but felt very good. They have an indoor bath, small outdoor bath, a sauna and a cold bath. Dinner was great, as was breakfast. They were both courses and delicious. Service? Well, this is what makes all the difference. When we book hotels we need to detail my daughter's food allergies which are serious. For this trip we had booked many hotels in a row and for some reason when we booked Shinyu and checked-in we just forgot. It was our fault and when we sat for dinner we saw her prepared meal that she obviously could not eat. The staff at Shinyu didn't miss a beat. The didn't make a big deal about it. No stress. The quickly adjusted and made a wonderful dinner for my daughter and also prepared for her breakfast in similar fashion. Wonderful. Such great service. Maybe the building isn't perfect. But the service was perfect. Shinyu was our last stop on our trip and we left with a smile. Shinyu gets an ”Excellent” from my family.

Breakfast was good. Fruit comes out enough to have fruit. There are meat, fish, vegetables and celery, and I can feel good that I don't run away only to fly. There was also yogurt, and I was able to eat color 々 without getting tired even if I stayed overnight. The bed is also good with Simmons. The chair was also firmly backed up. The hot spring was small but real. It is a plus that there was a water server. There was tea, green tea and dripping coffee in the room, so I came to drink water. It seems that you can stay at a good price if you make a reservation early, but I think Cospa is quite good.
