Comfort Inn at Founders Tower

1. There was no locked door. Anyone could enter any time. 2. Seriously gross. Fecal matter on the charging plate in the bathroom. I cleaned it. 3. The floor was stained. 4. The ac was non-existent. 5. Told no AAA by one, then it was too late by another. 6. No smoke detectors. All in all if it wasn’t so late at night, I would have ran off.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, and while I appreciate the efforts of the staff, I must be honest about my less-than-stellar experience. Upon entering my room, a distinct smell of mildew immediately filled my senses. It was as if the room had been closed off for an extended period without proper ventilation. I understand that older buildings can have their quirks, but this was a rather unwelcome surprise that tainted my first impression of the space. Furthermore, the condition of the carpet left much to be desired. There were visible stains and a general sense of uncleanliness that made me hesitant to walk barefoot in my own room. This is something I believe could easily be addressed with regular deep cleaning or even a full replacement of the carpeting. Lastly, the walls of the room were showing clear signs of wear and tear. They desperately need a fresh coat of paint to bring them back to life and make the room feel more inviting. The current state added a drabness to the room that was quite disheartening. Despite these issues, I must commend the staff who were consistently courteous and eager to help. However, the physical condition of the room was a letdown. I believe with some attention to detail, this hotel has the potential to provide a much more pleasant guest experience. I hope to see improvements on my next visit.

This was a bargain! Clean room, safe neighborhood and feel in the hotel, overall a good night’s rest! My husband didn’t like the small pillows, and he thought the bathroom was small. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room, lobby, and breakfast area. Also, the breakfast had variety and hot items! Would stay again.

The room was clean, but bath was small and there was black spots around both soap dishes in the tub and at the front forward lower corner on the outside. The assist handle is in the wrong place to use it, unless you use the toilet to step into the shower. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was ample with lots of coffee.

I will never stay at a Choicehotels.com location ever again, they consistently check me in to hotel rooms that have never been cleaned or the air conditioner is not working, I spend thousands a month on hotels to travel using Choice Hotels , had to change rooms three times last night. 😡 and of course tonight stay at the comfort inn on northwest expressway in OKC, AC does not work… go ask to change rooms and the front desk tells me that I’ve been checked in for an hour and should have realized it sooner 🤯.

Room was 85.35. The desk chair in room was a plastic computer chair that had the plastic chipped off on the arms and seat. The sofa has some type pf white powder on it and it was very worn out. The refrigerator was very old and yellow on top from nicotine. The room was dusty. Last but not least, the front desk couple did not thank us for staying with them. Nor were we thanked upon checking out the next morning.
