Cibo ripet

Dream Maldives. An unforgettable trip. The guest house is very nice, staff are friendly and willing to accommodate any requests. They welcomed us with a necklace of fresh flowers and fresh coconut to drink. The excursion guys are fantastic and very good. This is not a resort, if you choose a structure like this you have to think that you will be dealing with people who are completely different from us. You are not in a resort you enter their life with their habits. We Ligurians are very closed, they are more so. Few smiles that sometimes make you think you don't like him but that's not the case. I may be of few words but words are often useless when faced with the spectacles that nature offers us. The island is very beautiful, characteristic with a beautiful bikini beach. I found one flaw: the eating was too repetitive and not very tasty. If I could go back I would only have breakfast or at most half board. There are some places on the island where you eat well. Excursions chapter: definitely worth doing, they took us to see the whale shark, manta rays and turtles, we did guided snorkeling in various parts of the reef and the guys were truly phenomenal. It's a shame that we weren't able to organize snorkeling with nurse sharks with them, a little too expensive but in the end we managed to do it anyway at a cheaper dive. In conclusion, a dinner was also organized for us on the beach with the table surrounded by fairy lights...a truly welcome surprise.

We were staying here for a couple of days in September 2021. The guesthouse is very cozy, rooms are clean and It’s pretty close to the beach. The service is excellent, I have never experience such a service before this stay. The staff is super friendly and very nice, trying to help with everything. The hotel is close to bikini beach. I would recommend everyone to go on trips with hotel staff, you’ll get incredible experience that you’ll never forget. Thank you again!

We had a wonderful time at Kirulhiya, the staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable and the excursions offered are fantastic! The island of Omadhoo, is very authentic and beautiful. It is quiet and peaceful. Just a 3 minute walk from Kirulhiya, you will find the bikini beach - this is a lovely area with a wonderful lagoon. We also saw a Sting Ray here in the shallow lagoon. The food at Kirulhiya is delicious and fresh. We ate fresh fish, fresh fruits, delicious freshly pressed juices… so healthy! On top of that… We saw a whaleshark! The team at Kirulhiya is very knowledgeable and experienced with whaleshark spotting and I would 100% recommend this excursion for a once in a lifetime opportunity. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!

We arrived on this island by chance, we were looking for something not too touristy to be able to enjoy 4 days of relaxation. I start by saying that I have worked all my life in hotels and restaurants, normally I never take the reviews of the structures too seriously but in this case I must say that they hit the spot perfectly. The island is a real paradise, clean and with a beautiful part of barrier and bikini beach. The treatment is directly proportional to how much money you spend. Let me explain: do you spend 2k for your holiday in a guest house because you don't know what the prices are in the Maldives and you rely on an agency? You are the most pampered on the whole island. Do you inform yourself and try to spend a fair and proportionate amount for what you receive? Everything is literally ruined by the figure of "Ahmed". First of all, I 100% agree with what many reviews are saying. Ahmed is racist and hungry for money!! as soon as he understands that you are not interested in spending a lot of money per person for a 6-hour excursion he becomes rude and completely changes his attitude (I must state that in 3 weeks in the Maldives no one has ever asked us for such a crazy amount!!) It starts as first thing to ignore you and not to reply to messages. You feel treated like a nobody: you ask for information and he doesn't answer you, you ask for the opening hours of the shops and he replies "they open when they open". They changed the location of the breakfast and we weren't even notified.. All seasoned with a dose of sympathy towards the single tourists to whom he smiled big and seemed to be super helpful. Unfortunately this figure seems to be the Boss of the island of Ohmadhoo so it is difficult to stay away from him. Ahmed represents all that is shameful in Hospitality, he gives the idea that tourists are there to be robbed and give him money to be able to magnify his empire. You are the most incompetent, rude, racist and dishonest person I have ever met in my entire life. Change job!! The rest of the rooms could be a little better maintained. Simple food. A real shame because the island is a paradise ruined by “Ahmed” so if you are there and come in contact with this name stay away.

I was on vacation with my family in January 2022 and received a huge amount of positive emotions. the food is delicious, the staff is great, the place is calm, the ocean is warm, sunset is amazing. impressed by the excursions and the opportunity to swim with mantas and whale shark. beautiful local reef, these are incredible emotions. Breakfast on the beach every day - cool, but dinner on the beach at sunset - it’s а piece of art, every our place for dinner was decorated with love. I’m very glad and thankful to Ahmed,Faaley and his team. Thx a lot!
